Your model sounds perfect for this Janet. :)
Are there any online links for it?

I also noticed the steamer is fantastic for removing burnt tastes. I wonder how much more life we'll get from them by cleaning them this way. Hopefully lot's more. I think it kind of fluffs up the wick inside the coil too as once I have primed the coil I seem to get to vape for longer on a cart than I did with the boiling method (that I tried once.)

You are right about the potholders and tongs I also had a near burn the first time! If they are made of steel, ensure that the atomizer is held in paper towel or that the tongs are rubber - I used mine without a buffer the first time and now have a badly scratched atomiser:rolleyes:...think I will just strip it back to the steel as it doesn't look classy anymore. Amazing how much time I spend fiddling about with e-cigs nowadays.

Kimmie, it never ends - it's a hobby and we are addicts. I've been e-smoking for about 3months now and I'm beginning to feel I have everything I need. I have 4 e-cigs, an ultrasonic denture cleaner, Polident tablets, 40-something flavorings, VG (Vegetable Glycerin), PG (Propylene Glycol), 153 proof grain alcohol, menthol crystals, an egg cup and a shot glass for mixing batches, pipettes (eyedroppers) a whole bunch of 3 ml Sweet Breath bottles - filled with Bickford's or homebrew, a few bottles of e-liquid, a supply of blank cartridges, a supply of filled cartridges, extra atomizers, and I think that's about it. I will continue to buy a new e-cig from time to time and of course e-liquid, and flavorings and ingredients for my homebrews. But I'm pretty well set for the time-being. Whew, I'm outta breath now!

Ruby and Tex, Big Lots is a national chain of close-out stores. You can't order on-line from them. If you absolutely refuse to drag your .... to a store, then just google handheld steam cleaners. I think the wattage is important though, and the one I have has 1000. I know Amazon has a few, and I've always been pleased dealing with them. Oh, and Tex, I getcha about the money-pit; I'm experimenting with flavored e-cig liquids so I am substituting smoking my e-cig for eating! Seriously, I kinda am. If I didn't smoke my e-cig, I would be eating too much food. I justified buying this little steam cleaner because I can use it on a lot of other things. Besides, it was only 20 bucks. I think all Big Lots have practically the same inventory at any given time, but you never know for how long.

Good luck you all with your "hobby!"

Janet you are adorable!!! I am just a month behind you! Scary thing is... how did I get here...seriously...I was surfing and checking out ebay and somehow ordered a super mini from ebay...never heard of ecigs...but now find myself, glad to be part of this family. Finally being able to get my small nic fix without that stinky horrible burning tabacco...I can vap in a room one moment and have my hubby come in and not say...have you been smoking? It is a new world for me.

Dirk, Janet used it for atomizers and said it worked great. I used on my windows awsome. But I can't find an clogged atomizer lol. All my atomizers are working great and don't need cleaning. Can't believe this, last June all of them were acting up. Will let you know when I use it on one. Going to use the steamer to clean my boat tomorrow for winter storage :). Did get my menthol crystals today WOW!! see menthol thread

Why why boil a Janty when they come with a six month warranty and will replace them .as you don't expect them still to replace the ones you have boiled do you.
Some of us have all boiled cheap atomisers because our warranty has run out so there's nothing to lose but when you boil certain types you will find the paint will be bobbled and stripped off in places. So I don't think Janty would be very impressed it being returned in that condition.

Kate, just an FYI that when I've cleaned atomizers I've put the alcohol in the e-cig, not the e-cig in alcohol. And after ruining my beloved wimpy e-cigar at age 7 months, I have no intention of ever putting an electronic instrument in boiling water again.

Would I boil a Timex watch that's losing time? Would I boil an iPod that made scratchy sounds? What are we doing here? All we need is to occasionally "un-gunk" an atomizer. Best to do that with liquid inside the cig, IMHO.

I've taken the thing apart (it was a cheap generic) and the wires are as fine as cat's down. One of them had snapped (now they both have :D)

There was no gunk inside the thing at all, but it was always a very tight draw, which is why I 'cleaned' it a bit harshly perhaps (even forceful blowing could have damaged it).

By contrast, my other atomiser draws so easy that it feels like you're breathing through the thing, and the battery LED fails to light up until you suck hard.

One of our 3 Penstyle atomisers is likewise a bad fit for the carts and doesn't smoke as smoothly. It's hit-and-miss, I'd say. Fortunately, the starter Penstyle I got for my hubby smokes well.

Ok finally used my little steam cleaner from Amazon on 3 901 atomizers that were getting wispy. Used it just like Janet said 3 bursts directly into the chamber and 3 direct hits in the battery end. walla!!! They smokin machines. Wow how easy was that. All my atomizers going to get the steam bath on sundays to get ready for the week :)

Although I bought my steam cleaner on Amazon with a coupon and just paid for shipping 7.00, it was only 19.95 if you bought it, think it's well worth it. Used it on some carpet stains, windows, stove works great.
