I think I can taste silica, wick in clearos, more than polyfill. I just started using cotton in my RBAs because of that. I wouldn't compare a prefilled cartridge to a cartomizer. Prefilled cartos are crap.

Until you get a protank or non-polycarbonate tank, be mindful of the flavors. Just don't use cinnamon or heavy citrus stuff.

im definitely investing in a protank next week, and possibly even the eGo twist, or another variable battery.....got a weeks worth of research to do before then though, so all is good! noticed that my CE5's are gurgling and leaking onto the battery from time to time so im doubting i'll even end up keeping them as spares. may even have to go and buy a CE4 from my local newsagent to be going on with until my evod arrives.....bad times lol

checked that and its still there and tight as i can get it..... as i mentioned before ive noticed the atomiser posts keep going a bit wonky, although this particular clearo looks to be fine in all aspects except for the slight leaking and gurgling.....it was slightly gurgling with the redbull juice i had in, but its gone mental since i put the chocolate one in yesterday afternoon.....and im 100% positive that i tightened everything after cleaning it yesterday morning!

When you take the entire tank apart you'll notice the bottom plate may be slightly askew. If you look very closely you may see a very slight space between the plate and clearo. Using pliers GENTLY crimp the bottom plate to the clearo. On many Clearos ESP the CE4 I've had to do this "crimp". When I began Vaping the juice delivery devices was only a carto or carto+ tank. Only choice was finding a brand. One last bit of advice- never buy a Version 1 release of anything vape related as they're usually overpriced and have issues....and thus version 1,23, etc.

Didn't take long for someone to plug mt Baker.. Check out all the vendors. A lot of them will ship internationally.. general liquid discussion is a bit cluttered. so..

Fuzion Vapor, Alice in Vapeland, Alien Visions E-juice, J-Vape's, Heather's heavenly Vapes, Indigo, The Vapor chef, Mt. Baker, and I guess I'll throw in Pink Spot..even though I can't stand them. That will help you get started. I've used all of these vendors..and the first four are constantly in my drawer.

I would like to throw in Juicy Vapor and Ms. T's Bakery. Both excellent brands. :toast:

very slight gap between the battery connection plate and the air conduit tube........pliars did the trick - still gurgling but not leaking, well not that ive noticed lol

Gurgling could be coming in via the silicon cap that covers the coil. Try pushing it down a little bit. If the cap is not squeezing the wicks enuff too much juice is wicked in. Too much for the coil to handle. Like I said as soon as an alternative clearo came out I dumped them BUT I waited for version 2 cuz as usual version 1 had issues.

well hopefully i wont be waiting too long for my evod to arrive......probably on payday when im ordering a mini protank 2, cartomisers and a carto tank and possibly the ego twist (payday pending lol)

I own both Twists and Spinners and prefer the Spinner cuz it's smaller. Also has a wider knurled voltage dial with easy to see voltage markings. Twist voltage markings are literally invisible. Most that own Twists and Spinners agree. It's your choice though.

agree with Vapoor - think higher of the Vision spinners, what I spent $ on JMO

will bare that in mind, and hopefully will be able to try the evod before i get paid lol this bloody ce5 is still leaking, looks like im just gonna have to grin n bare it for a while longer :( oh well lol

oh and out of interest, i know my battery has a 510 fitting, but its threaded both inside and out, so does that mean its got both the ego and 510 fittings? just wondering as Vape Escape suggests buying a 510 to eGo T adapter.....not keen on wasting most £££ than i have to lol

Depending on what size tank you'll get with a 510 connection, you'll want to get a collar. The smaller tanks need a plinth, and the larger tanks will need a skirt/collar.

3.5ML Dual Coil Tank Decorative Plinth
6ML Dual Coil Tank Decorative Plinth

Not only does it look better by eliminating that space and seeing the ego threads, but it helps your tank from not being snagged on anything. If you get carto-tanks, it's more of a bigger deal that you need this. The non-locking carto tanks, which are all I use, can move up with enough force. It kinda looks ghetto without one regardless what tank you have on a 510+ego thread.
