Value vapor has a video link what shows how to fill these and it uses the upside down method. A lot of the revised ce3s did away with the syringe method by using a filler hole. Maybe this contributed to the downfall of the design.

Still, you need to find the perfect thick/thin ratio on the juice. If they made a ce3 that comes apart for cleaning/modding I would give these another go.

Its sideways as usual, not sure whether I should curse ECF or the Iphone. I choose Iphone.

The CE2 syringe tank works great! Hits better, not sure why. I call placebo. Not a leak in sight....yet

I know some people already get this: 808d Tank Atomizer

Any review yet?

well, again. Bottom coil clearos. Short lived....little bit of filler sealed around coil and wick so hard to dry burn clean. BUT for those of us who have "sealed" fat bat autos and have issues with adapters and 901 atty's, they are a great way to test juice.
.5ml is perfect for vaping a short while. Especially for complex juices that change as you vape. And the tiny bit of filler gives you a hint of how it may taste in a cartomizer. Excellent for giving your juice a test run before filling a 3ml echomizer.

I have some from a few months back still going because I fill it up with new juice or blends, see if they need a tweak and soak them in alcohol when I'm done.

.5ml tank........

So i finally got the "repairable CE2 mod" to work, and without any solder! WOOT!

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/atomizer-mods/213659-repairable-ce2.html

I used two safety pins. Both threaded through the ceramic cup, and bent into a U that sits super tight against the cup

The post contact gets bent into a U, the upsloping part of it gets pushed against the post. Cover in two layers of heat shrink wrap, apply heat, gets it super tight.

The base contact I just left a tad long, so it peeked over the outer rim.

Two loops of 36 gauge nichrome 80 around each of the cup Us, pulled taut, and 4 coils around the wick

Pulled the fluxo casing down and kept a grasp on the base contact with needle nose pliers, ended up flush against the outer rim

2.0 ohms! wooooooooooooo

Post number 16 has a schematic, though he used solder, not tucks.

Nice! Have you tried more loops, maybe with a 34 guage. In my experiments there is a huge gap between the 34 and 36 but I did manage to get a 2.0 ish with 6 tight wraps (including the first and final once over for the downward ends.) Too low for a horizontal coil carto but might be perfect for a clearo.

Also, my cheap meter reads .2 when I touch the leads together. It's pretty common. have you checked for that? You may actually have made a 1.8ohm coil.

mine actually read 2.4 on this mod, and .3-.4 when I touch the leads together, so apparently its 2.0-2.1

I have 32 (can't get it to be anything but 1.3 or 6.0 LOL), 34 which I use on the stardusts at 4 coils = 2.0, and 36 which badkolo sent me from gotvapes. Its actually the first time I used this one. The thing is the safety pin terminals need two wraps (albeit tight) to 'knot' the coil down, so I figured 6 wraps +2 terminal wraps would leave the resistance too high. But I will try on the next one to see if I can get 6 tight +2 terminal wraps and still end up in the low twos.

This thing is actually a bit hot lol. And I hate the juice I poured into it, have to flush soon.

I will get into rebuilding when I have a larger stock of kills.
In the last 2 months I have only killed 3 CE2's and 0 Boge cartos.
I have been using the 3 ohm Boges in tanks and that seems to be the reason for the longer life.
Since I use a VVPV, 3 ohms is the perfect resistance as it allows me to have a wider range of watts.
Some of the more 'delicate' juices such as pear; peach and watermelon taste better at lower volts (3.5-3.7), while other juices are better at higher volts (4.5-5.5) on the higher ohm carto's.
A battery is only as good as what you put on it, but until they make a variable resistance carto, I'll have to have a variable volt battery.

My CE3's arrived yesterday and as with the bottom coil CE4's, they had some type of storage liquid as the wicks were wet.
I dry burned them prior to filling (don't vape this stuff) I did on the first one and it tasted like oily chemicals.
I ordered the 2.4-2.6 ohm CE'3 just in case the wife wanted to use them on her KGO, all 5 ohm'd in at 2.5.
They also took 1-2 fillings to break in, but they are performing nicely, I get a very good 'clean' vape.
Yes, they are slightly lacking on heat as they are bottom coils, but the juice is spot on and I haven't experienced any leaks and I like not having juice in my mouth, which occurs occasionally with my CE2's.
I did have condensation in one, but that was operator error. Since it's a bottom coil, I had to let off the button prior to inhale to get all the vapor out of the tube.

Summary:
It's only been 2 days, but since the small learning curve, they give a very nice & clean vape experience.
I haven't experienced any leaks nor have I had any joose in my mouth.
They take 1-2 fillings to break in and the vapor isn't as hot as with my CE2's, so with the given pluses, these may replace my CE2 Ultimate's.
I did notice that the bottom base can get hot after a serious vape session and this heat did transfer to my battery post.
So I plan to add a extension adapter to help dissipate the heat. This is something I will keep my eye on.

I have been told that these are also rebuildable. So further use and life span will be the deciding factor.

Cyrus, how is that C8 performing for you?

Another note, the juice didn't get darker as the tank emptied as with my CE2's or other top coil designs.
The juice stayed the same color and the taste didn't change even in the slightest, plus you can watch bubbles as you vape :)
The draw is more airy also!

Dang, my bad....It looked just like the new crypto's from GotVapes.
Now the question.....what is it?
Is it the latest CE2 and where did you get it?
