I will get into rebuilding when I have a larger stock of kills.
In the last 2 months I have only killed 3 CE2's and 0 Boge cartos.
I have been using the 3 ohm Boges in tanks and that seems to be the reason for the longer life.
Since I use a VVPV, 3 ohms is the perfect resistance as it allows me to have a wider range of watts.
Some of the more 'delicate' juices such as pear; peach and watermelon taste better at lower volts (3.5-3.7), while other juices are better at higher volts (4.5-5.5) on the higher ohm carto's.
A battery is only as good as what you put on it, but until they make a variable resistance carto, I'll have to have a variable volt battery.
My CE3's arrived yesterday and as with the bottom coil CE4's, they had some type of storage liquid as the wicks were wet.
I dry burned them prior to filling (don't vape this stuff) I did on the first one and it tasted like oily chemicals.
I ordered the 2.4-2.6 ohm CE'3 just in case the wife wanted to use them on her KGO, all 5 ohm'd in at 2.5.
They also took 1-2 fillings to break in, but they are performing nicely, I get a very good 'clean' vape.
Yes, they are slightly lacking on heat as they are bottom coils, but the juice is spot on and I haven't experienced any leaks and I like not having juice in my mouth, which occurs occasionally with my CE2's.
I did have condensation in one, but that was operator error. Since it's a bottom coil, I had to let off the button prior to inhale to get all the vapor out of the tube.
Summary:
It's only been 2 days, but since the small learning curve, they give a very nice & clean vape experience.
I haven't experienced any leaks nor have I had any joose in my mouth.
They take 1-2 fillings to break in and the vapor isn't as hot as with my CE2's, so with the given pluses, these may replace my CE2 Ultimate's.
I did notice that the bottom base can get hot after a serious vape session and this heat did transfer to my battery post.
So I plan to add a extension adapter to help dissipate the heat. This is something I will keep my eye on.
I have been told that these are also rebuildable. So further use and life span will be the deciding factor.
Cyrus, how is that C8 performing for you?
