^ aint that the truth! and here in the states, if you dont have insurance the hospitals dont have to treat you for cancer unless youre in danger of dying immediately. (at least, that's how it is in my state)

"There's no smoking in here!"
"Oh my gosh! Is someone smoking? Where???"

Along those same lines...

Wal-Mart Employee: Sir? Sir! You can't smoke in here!

Vaper: A rule I agree with wholeheartedly, my good fellow! (you have to say it with that same cheery pretentiousness as the Great Gatsby "Outstanding, old sport!")

This isn't really a comeback, but...

"They're bloody great and you might not get cancer!"

(Jo Brand's advertising slogan for cigarettes on an episode of Q.I.)

Seriously tho, I've had to resort to smoking that evil brown **** again tonight as thx to Janty I've run out of e-liquid. It didn't make me barf, as I thought it might, but nevertheless it still tasted vile.

But this thread is a great idea. And it's true. E-smoking is not just a poor substitute for the real thing. It's infinitely BETTER than the real thing. There is no contest. Fresher, cleaner, more satisfying, a plethora of different flavours to choose from etc. It IS the future of smoking (said before a million times or more no doubt, but can't be said often enough in my view).

I really had no desire to start smoking again, but having no e-liquid (and no willpower) I have done. And I'm glad I did really because it's given me renewed determination to try and make others see the huge con that is the tobacco industry for what it really is. And even more so now that there's a healthier, more enjoyable alternative. You'd have to be a fool (or deep in denial) not to embrace it. Okay, there may be a small learning curve at first, but it's not rocket science. With the spectre of a long, painful death receding all the time, I can honestly say I never enjoyed tobacco smoking anyway near as much as I now enjoy e-smoking

And it's more fun than cancer.

Bartender: Sir. You can’t smoke in here.

Me: Madam this is my inhaler. I have deficient nicotinic acetylcholine and neuromuscular receptors.
This harmless substance containing nothing but a pharmacological suspension and C10H14N2 in liquid alkaloid form relieves the discomfort for a time.
In fact this same substance has been known to improve or prevent; the development of Kaposi's sarcoma, breast cancer among women, preeclampsia, and atopic disorders such as allergic asthma.
It’s further been known as an acute antipsychotic. Perhaps you’d like to try some?
(All of the above is medically true)

Or if I’m too lazy to do the techno-babble I tend toward:
Waitress: Sir, why are you chewing on your pen?
Me: I needed something to get the taste of this “food” out of my mouth.

What is that thing you are smoking, Don't you know you can't smoke in here?

I am not smoking, this is an electronic vaporizer and it does not contain tobacco. It has a liquid in it like that which is used in inhalers for people with asthma to reduce the nicotine withdrawl symptoms. ;)

May not be very "snappy" but so far it has shut them down most of the time. My brother has asthma and PG is the carrier for the medicine he uses in his nebulizer.
