My vote goes for this Cappy.
It's been way too stressful for all of us with this last go round.
That 'dibs' nonsense was just that - stupidity and craziness like bargain hunters breaking down a ChinaMart door for a $19 TV after gorging themselves on a 28 pound turkey.
Focus on the mods you love to make, they will sell themselves.
Personally I really want a dna RSM, but if I don't get one I'm not gonna hang myself from a yardarm.

Do what is easiest for you. Doesn't matter to me as I will be asleep when they are listed (I work nights). However, I'll be checking the big sale to see if any are left.

Looks like I will have to suspend working on the batch again this weekend to do desk caddies, but that is typical most of the time.
You betcha! Although, at my present rate of building I would guess that it will still be at least a week before I am finishing up the last of the batch, longer if I have to do desk caddies again next week. I am also working on the mods that have been promised to people first. I will get those out of the way and then follow up with the rest.

Those are beauty's. Maybe one of these days when my wife evicts my stuff from the Kitchen cabinet I'll get a desk to put my stuff on and oder some of these!! Enjoy them Jake they are a work of art for sure!!

Yeah. The dibs have always come off a little weird to me. Made me wonder about an inside job....it seems much more up front to say...sale starts at such and such a time, and then there's a free for all. In fact, maybe there has been a turn off for some potential buyers who think that the primo mods go to the thread favs before they are even offered for sale....
From a financial viewpoint, the best thing for Cappy to do would be to auction them!

During the course of conversations with people, sometimes they express an interest in a certain type of mod. If they are a friend of the thread I will mention that I am making one just like that in the batch and if they want it, they can have it.
Also, if I mention a wood/mod combination on the thread and I get a PM saying "I would like that please!", then I will probably put their name on it.
Other people have sometimes mentioned something they really would like to see me make someday, and I remember that sometimes and make one on purpose just for them, especially if the have been a thread regular for a long time. Fright88 didn't get his Destroyer26 this batch (again) so next batch I will make another one for him. These sort of things happen on occasion and that is where most of the promised mods come from.
When I am done there will be 10 mods up for grabs on the website. I will post pictures first and then I will put them up on the website. I will put them up for sale at a convenient time for myself during my work day and I am going to ignore any "dibs" prior to posting on the website. This is how it is going to work from now on, except for exceptions as mentioned above and those are entirely my choice to do or not.
Hope that clears things up a bit. I wish to please everyone, but answer to no one.
