i have 2 desk caddies and they are fully occupied!

you need to use 24g wire is all for the dna stuff if i remember, but i have been hearing that there are as many boards failing as working with the DNA30 which suggests to me hassle, when i can get the same performance from a mechanical mod anyway.

The dna 20s on the other hand are rather tasty and i have a couple of those (i say 'i', the wife has one too). None of the DNA boards much like anything spilled on them, from water to eliquid to snow to i don't want to know, and what usually happens is the display fails, but the board works.
Some return to life and some do not, so it suggests that placement of the board itself and "waterproofing" it from these hazards is something that needs serious consideration and therefore space in a mod.

Until it is a proven chip and board, i'd be reluctant to dive in on one, since it is so new, let alone design something around it. The Hana mods that currently use it are too new to draw any inferences about reliablilty and sell in too few numbers.

So my DNA20 Tiger-Maple Destroyer arrived today and
instantly felt at home side by side with her older DNA12 Quilted-Maple Sister ;-)
She is an elegant shiny "whitey" and light as a feather :D

but have a look:

She is a real darling. Of my favorite woods, the curly tiger maple has always been in the top 5. Not a working man's mod to be sure, it would get grimy real fast, but a gorgeous around the house wood.

Have a great day all, arrrr

Arrr, got blasted with some last minute desk caddy orders today, I know what I'm gonna be doing all weekend again, arrrr

And before I forget, for those of you interested, here are the banners for RSM owners again. The last post of them was on the old thread I think...

And for people with different models;

Yo ho!

Good early Sunday morning crew!

What business does this scurvy devil have being awake before 8am? There was some dubious scheming afoot with the house I have an offer in on, so my lady and I are back on the hunt. When will it end!

Received my large combo caddy a few days ago, I'm amazed it fit into a regular box! Thanks Cappy :D

Ahoy Waho. I used a video sized box I discovered was available last year. A bit more than the small flat rate but a good alternative when u need a bigger size! and glad you like it!

Thats what I'm doing this weekend and probably Monday and Tuesday, desk caddies! I can only do 2 per day on average and I have 7 of them this time.... arrrr

Hope you all have a fantastic weekend. I even found a bit of time in the evening to play video games, yo ho!

Ahoy!! Time to rattle the cage a bit, too #^*$ quiet around here!

I finally got all the orders that were made over the last week shipped today. Two desk caddies a day is all I can seem to manage even in an assembly line fashion. Thankfully I have never gotten more orders than I could fill over a weeks time, but it sure puts a kink in making mods.

I used to make mods 5 days a week and caddies over the weekend, but that has pretty much reversed anymore. Kinda happy that I stopped taking pre-orders or I would have had some very unhappy buyers!

The CNC died on me yet again, but after some troubleshooting I was able to find out that the ram card had failed and was able to replace it and get it running again. That bloody machine is gonna get a spanking if it doesn't start behaving!

Anyhow, hope everyone's week is going well.

If that Marauder on the website doesn't sell by this coming Monday, I am gonna have a random thread give-away. She needs a home!

Later all, arrrr

Good to hear everything is back on tracks Cappy :)
Sorry I haven't been here more often recently, it seems like all I did these last couple of weeks is...work, work, work and eventually get a bit of sleep for a few hours before going back to work. Yeaaaaaah, exciting life!
Can't complain though, I'll be happy to see my paycheck in the end! :D

Ditto! Add looking for a house in there too and you've wrote my biography :D

Had another round of snow last night. I think our total up here is around 72 inches (6 feet, 1.8 meters) snowfall this season. Crazy.
