I've been thinking about a standard bogger box but I don't know about it's resistance.

Has anyone tested it on a .55 OHM Sub Ohm setup, or .65 Ohm and seen what the voltage is under load.?

The VV and DNA20D are fine for above 1 OHm but unstable at under 1 Ohm, so I want to buy a Non-VV Bottom Feeder that has a low resistance.

I bought the most popular standard Aluminum Box on the market, and it's performance was dismal. Over 1V drop on a .55Ohm Atomizer. Making it useless for me.

So unless the standard bogger box performs well in Sub Ohm there is no reason to buy it as my VV Bogger Box and DNA20D bogger box work tremendously at 1 Ohm and above.

I've never tested under load, but I've run .7-.8 on my VV bogger flawlessly. just turn it all the way down then bring it up a quarter turn at a time until the dual coils fire with zero lag.

Went to the local vape shop tonight.

:2cool: Everyone loved my Bogger. They were a little appalled at the price (this particular shop was the one of the first that opened in the area and only has eGos and clones, while the newer ones to pop up are all high end mods) but loved it nonetheless. It was the first time they'd ever seen a bottom feed mod and they had themselves a little passaround. :vapor:

I kept having to tell everyone to be wary of the dry hits 'cause they didn't quite understand the idea of squonking until I opened it up and showed them the innards.

I was looking for wire a wood drip tip but none looked nice on mine.

Good times were had. :)

I am looking to make a turn into bottom feeding and I am curious about the status on the aluminum bogger boxs. Anyone happen to know a rough ETA or if this is still going to happen?

me too! But it appears Marcus has abandoned the thread and I don't see any mention of it on their website. I seem to remember him saying they were working on the shop additions for the aluminum models but that was a while back. I hope they haven't scrapped the idea.

Irwanizam- i hope you can figure out what has happened with your order. I had some complications with mine as well. I was also told that it had shipped when it had in fact had not shipped. Then was told it was going to be actually be shipped the next day 2 weeks after that. About a month after that i finally received my product. I am satisfied with my product. But unfortunately i will not reorder from this modder because of the poor customer relations/communication and false information i was fed about my order.
I understand that the modder is busy and has a life outside of making these boxes. He also does to quality work. But the aforementioned mess ruined the process for me.
I would file a claim with your credit card company and they will be able to settle the claim for you. -as the previous post suggests
I hope this transaction doesn't end in disappointment for you.

True that. I was really looking forward to getting a purpleheart custom, but I'm almost certain my next will be a Reo. I'm very happy with the Bogger product - but as patient as I have been (I think), the customer service leaves a lot to be desired.

Rundown:
June 23 - Placed custom order (at this time, estimated time for creating it was 3 weeks)

July 19 - sent inquiry as to if signature confirmation would be necessary. Was told no, and that the Bogger would be shipping out that Monday/Tuesday (July 22/23)

July 27 - sent another inquiry as to whether or not the Bogger has shipped yet since I did not get confirmation. No reply.

August 2 - e-mail stated that the shipping label was printed

August 6 - item finally made it to USPS

August 8 - Delivered.

It was a frustrating process. Mostly because I was told it was shipped when it really wasn't. And then when I got worried that it didn't show up a week after the supposed date (without shipping information), I didn't get a reply when I'd sent an inquiry as to whether or not it was actually shipped. I was willing to wait. I just didn't like that I didn't know whether the Bogger just wasn't shipped yet or got lost in the shipping process.

its really hard to make a dispute because its already 3months++ if im not mistaken. :(

The fact that it is 3 months is better in the case of a credit card claim because it shows a lack of service for a transaction agreement.
If you have received any emails from the modder- have you saved them? They might be crucial to forward them to your credit card company after filing a claim. I still have my orders email communication saved in a folder because of the process i went through. Good luck friend. Pm me with any questions you have.
