Got my hornet and screws into my mini bogger but won't fire! Is that due to the contact post not connecting? How did you dremel yours? Any tips? Would love to use the hornet without the 510 connector/adapter which works fine but looks ugly! :(

I do not have a mini nor a hornet so I can not say for sure. I used a sanding drum attachment on mine and just kept it as level as possible, gradually working my way down and widening the bottom of the cup. It took a couple of drums to get there as I have the stainless steel cup. It works but I did mess up my 510 connection a touch doing it. Delrin I think would be much easier to work with.

Anyone knows if bogger mods is closed for holiday or something? It's been 3 days since I placed and order and sent them mail but haven't gotten any reply from them...

Not that I know of, he is usually pretty quick to respond to email especially during the week. PM's through ECF do not work well tho as he does not receive any notice even tho his settings are supposed to send him one.

Settled.. I think he is just busy. Anyway it is no fault of his; I placed an order then realised it might not reach in time so I kinda rushing to see when it can be shipped. It's shipped and now I can't wait for my first box mod!

Ratman, thanks I appreciate it. And I saw you review on youtube. Dude you are cool!

Just placed an order. Ive been wanting a Box Mod again since I sold my other one. Really looking forward to this. I see he prefers the 18350's. Can I still use a 18650 without any problems? Just checking.

if it's a VV (which I assume, since you are saying 18350's)) then no, a single 18650 won't work..a single 18350 is used in the minis.

Thes are beautiful creations, you won't be disappointed!

Glad you got it worked out and happier that it is on its way to you. Appreciate the kind words re: the video. It's gotten very positive response. I credit the mod personally ;)

got my new stabilized VV in today, kinda lost as to how to adjust the voltage and know where its actually at. i can tighten and losen the screw but all my vapes seem very hot even with a 3ohm boge carto.

you need one of these: Meters : 510 Voltage Indicator Rev 2

the screw on the boggers can be turned quite a number of rotations to adjust..I think it's called a wormhole screw or something like that..anyway, try continuing to turn counter-clockwise until the vape cools a bit..you will get used to the way it adjusts, and checking it with a meter is a good idea too. You will find many more uses for a voltage meter.

ok i got it working, next issue im having is. i had put in 2 fresh AW 18350s in last night. used for for maybe an hour. went to use it today when i got up and they were dead. this is the second time ive put it down and came back to it having drained the batteries.

yes, that is a quirk with the Bogger VV's...same think happens to me and other folks that I know of as well. I've adjusted to it myself by putting in a fresh set of batteries in the morning and remembering (most of the time) to put them on the charger at night. I am not sure why this only happens with Marcus's circuit, but it does...I have other VV devices that use stacked 18350's and this doesn't happen with them. I view it as a small inconvenience given the stunning beauty of the wood and the flawless workmanship and care that Marcus puts in to these boxes.

Same trouble with my bogger! ...

Ordered a blue stabilized wood V V last night. From what I'm seeing here, sounds like I'll be getting a nice mod when it's ready.Love the dyed stabilized woods.Have a beautiful green Southpaw mod that finally got too leaky and had to give up on it.So If I like the finished product,I'm sure I'll be back for more ! Thinking purple for the next one ; )
