Okay, Sedge, I figured out the Sophia reference, though I still have no idea about salt and Pepper. Weren't they rappers? 
Okay, after watching several reviews, I know what to expect, sorta. Where I get confused is the resistance/non-resistance wire thing. But that's okay; I can get pre-wrapped coils combining them at GotVapes, lol. I'm guessing the worst is going to be trying to thread the wires through those tiny holes, though I'm thinking it can't be any worse than trying to thread them on the Phoenix. Why can't they build RBAs for older folks with bad vision, lol.

Are you referring to the ready wire? I'm familiar with Stormy's-it's where I get my SS cartos. I'd planned on visiting there my last trip home - they're an hour drive from my house near ATL. So do y'all prefer silica or cotton wicks?
I've been a cotton lover since late last year, especially Japanese cotton like Ko Gen Do and Shiseido. The newest rage here on ecf is cellucotton rayon. I'm getting some from an ecf friend. Its one of the fastest moving threads on ecf. All users are reporting great results.

Bert. I received the prototype today. Stuck it on a Reo/Cyclone AFC right away. Fits perfectly. Love the dual oring base. I'll drip with it after kids asleep.
LOL, I've still got cheesecloth and cotton for bandages left over from last summer's attempts at building coils. BTW, I looked at Uncle Phil's review of the Salt and Pepper tank. It looks like a great tank, fixes all of the things I disliked about the Trap tank. That said, I'm still loving my Clean tanks, both the clear ones Bert's making for Avid and his Trippy tanks. In fact, when he gets back in town, I'm considering talking to him about making one for my Darkstar as a b'day present to myself.

The Trippy Clean tank is THE MOST BEAUTIFUL carto tank ever. I had both styles of the original clean tank when they first came out and they were my favorite. Great performance and all glass makes the juice taste great.

Well, the Diver's on it's way, I've ordered ready wire from Stormy's, and I've got some Ko Gen do cotton pads coming as well. I now know what I'll be doing this weekend, lol. Now I just need to find a re-useable K cup for my Keurig. BTW, if you get a Keurig machine and look at their My K cup, which says it fits all Keurig machines, it lies! When I was back home, Tara took me to an office supply place that carries overstock and such and I found a commercial Keurig for cheaper than a home model.

Wow! I've been researching building coils pretty much all day today and it's definitely a brave new world. Last I looked, coils should never touch and you used a high gauge and relatively few wraps. Now there's micro-coils which are supposed to touch each other and you use lower gauges and more wraps. Who'd have thunk?
