Hi,
Well I have come to the conclusion that people with COPD may not be able to create massive 'clouds'. I have emphysema and am currently on 3 puffers to
assist my breathing. I have taken up vaping (as per signature) and have been watching videos on cloud chasers and my attempts have not even come close
to the cloud production that I have seen...so I assume that this is due to my limited lung capacity.

Most likely, you're right. I was diagnosed asthmatic when I was 2, and then with COPD a few years ago. My cloud production is low due to lung capacity, but thick due to my builds. My capacity has gotten better, though, since quitting smoking.

I know I'll never be good enough to enter competitions, but it's enough to satisfy my desire to fog up the room. LOL

vape on, and congrats for quitting.

IMO if you have COPD you might want to stay clear of inhaling that much VG into your lungs. I have no idea if it could cause your lungs more damage than they already have, but why take the chance. My father was on oxygen for the last years of his life because of COPD and that really affects your life. I believe COPD also gets worse with age, so if it were me I would be as careful as I could be.

Having said that, what hardware did you try it with and how did you set it up? Are you able to take a full lung inhale? How high was the VG in the juice?

Hi Ryedan,
Well you ask question that have a myriad of answers as I have 6 gadgets and as many tanks LOL. I haven't got that much lung left ...I don't think...but I go to my Pulmonary Dr. this month for check up so maybe she will do a lung test...as I have had previous tests she could maybe compare them. My lung capacity is small, but when I vape now I do not have the coughing that I did before vaping.
I am a 58 year analog smoker up till June this year...since vaping I have noticed improvements in a # of areas.

If I were diagnosed with COPD there is no way I would be chasing clouds. Vaping would only be an option if I were getting off the cigs but even that would be a means to an end for me.

Not trying to be holier than thou or anything like that so please don't read this the wrong way. If vaping is getting and keeping you off cigs that's fantastic. While we all figure vaping is safer than smoking we still don't know what the long term affects are, I would guess trying to lung bust isn't the best idea though.
