From my personal experience I'd advise if you start having ANY wierd issues like check atty when you know atty is good, random lock up or whatever send an email to your vender and get it replaced asap. It will only get worse, even if you think it stopped doing it for a few days.
I took mine apart while still on warranty (I know, my bad) and found rebuilding these takes more than just a new chip. The way they epoxy the internals all together leaves you with pretty much a bare metal box for rebuilding. That means new plexi-windows, buttons, charge unit and might as well get a good 510 socket in there while at it. Just an fyi.
While I contemplate when I'll rebuild it -probably when dna30 chips are $30, I've ordered the new clone from Fasttech that comes with an 18650. I'm hoping lightning doesn't strike twice..
