Actually herb, HE's the one who asked me to buy it for him in the first place and gave me the money and link to Elev8 so............if you don't have anything constructive to add.................I"m trying for info, not misinformed judgements, no offense.....:2c:

ANYWAYS, I've read on another site that others have noticed the unit flashing ohms below 4.4 Volts. Still waiting on Elev8Vape to return my Email's questions, so we'll see.
Anyone have any familiarity with these changes, specifically the ohms flashing and the gold 510?

i have the exact same issue. when i screw my atlantis onto my elev8 vapes cloupor dna 30 it reads 0.6 ohms and at 30watts it should be firing at around 4.2 volts however the ohms just keeps flashing.. i have contacted elev8 vape about the issue and this was their response..
Hey, Robert! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas! :)

The newer units have the same bug. The device will regulate, even when the screen flashes. We are currently working with Cloupor to resolve this bug.

edit: i have the newest version with the adjustable 510 ordered in december

Wow this thread hasn't been used in a while hah? Just wanted to pop in here and say my first batch plain black can is still kicking strong.I have had it since last May. Best mod for the money I have bought to date.

Yep, my first round v1 is still working just fine too, though its been replaced by my dna40 as a daily driver.

anyone else have the screen die on them? muine still fires, but 0 from the screen...
Considering the difficulty of getting a KX40 board and the bother of installing it I'd just go with the Evolv DNA40 board. Perhaps even the DNA25, it's be pretty close in power to what you had plus TC.
I did this one a few days ago.

Note: This isn't a Cloupor gone bad, it was an empty box from FT.

Lets see how this goes, I never uploaded a file here before.
DNA40 data sheet:

it went well - thanks - i have the data sheet... just wondering the degree of difficulty of swapping out the board - my soldering skills should be up to par - just wondering if i will need to modify any thing in the cloupor box...

You mentioned changing the 510, note the distance required if using the nut for it. You may have to thread the hole and screw it in.
