I actually prefer this for my 1.0 to 1.5 ohm devices. For .3 to .99 I prefer my mechanical mods. I rarely go below .3 regardless.
Well sort of. I called him twice today saying if it wasn't in stock than I needed to cancel my order. Yet just like sando7 said the tracking number can't be found, so I'm sure it hasn't actually shipped yet. I got frustrated, called Epik Vape Shop LLC because I saw they had stock on instagram, and ordered an Authentic from them today. About an hour later I had a legit tracking number from Epik, so I will have a clone for sale soon. lol

Just saw on another thread on this forum that a member just received the older, large 510 pin version from fluid vapes. I am not going to be happy if mine shows up in a couple of days that way. Site says this is for batch 2 orders. I assumed that would mean the updated versions.

And today one of them wouldn't fire because it wouldn't read the ohm's of the Att, and if took Att off it would not say check atomizer, so I changed out the battery and it would read then ohm's and fire and if you took off Att it would say check atomizer, so then I put the same battery into the other mod and same thing, so it the battery, Now one of three sets of VTC5's will not work in either mod, now after its been working fine for days, I don't get it the battery is new and charged what gives.
the unit i recently received from fluid vapes has the small 510 version, no probs so far
don't think you got anything to worry about, if i got the new one you will too.
i have been using a 510 to 510/ego adapter with the wide blk beauty ring, figured i could avoid any issues that could arise this way + i think it looks good.....been using RDA's only so far....haven't tried my KF or my Prometheus if i do i'll ride them flush with the 510 connection.
Is it just me or does the battery drain faster on these than on a genuine dna30? :S
quick update on mine.
The powerlock mode seems to be engaging on its own. leaving the unit overnight ( it was very cold next morning dont know if that is relevant) seemed to solve it. i can change the wattage now and go into and exit powerlock mode independently. so far today it has not locked me out.

I believe that fluid vapes just copied and pasted the description from elev8vape.com, so the batch shipping number probably won't matter on fluid vapes site. I also here is elev8's picture of the updated 510.

there are no thin spots
now i'm wondering myself, was told this was the updated version, it looks even all around with no thin spots.

What do you mean by a thin spot? Are you referring to the space surrounding the firing pin? If you look at the comparison picture above your post you can see that the new pins are "slightly" smaller than the older ones, not by much by smaller.....I have a first batch and a second batch and you can see the difference side by side but barely....

Added an air flow adapter that has a 510 connector pin sticking out slightly.
I like it so far. Fires on first push from sleep mode. Does not seem to have the orange peel paint job that the first ones supposedly had.
