I'm actually using a Fogger V4. The build is a little different, but I'm curious why you say 20W is a bit much for a kayfun? Wouldn't the coild/build dictate what it can and can't handle along with a person's preference?

Well sub ohming doesn't work so well on a kayfun so I assume you're build is a bit higher. It's a small chamber and that's got to be a hot @$$ vape. I suppose If that's your thing you'd be alright

101vapes had blue and red clones in stock now.

MAN! I wish i would have known that this morning-- before I ordered mine from Fluid Vapes. I've never ordered from FV before, but from what I have read in this thread, they seem to be slow to process orders... or maybe we're all just impatient when it comes to DNA30 mods.

i got screwed there. ordered from fluid yesterday. they don't know when its gonna ship. if i waited for 101vape, it woulda shipped today.

got my blue one from them in 2 days. ordered a red one from fluid vapes. one still waiting, silver, from elev8. thought that would ship this week. . the 2 week wait is 3 weeks, so far. but with all the stuff that they went through and the checking of each mod. i'll be patient with them.

btw, fluid said 1 to 3 days to ship. prolly the last time i order from them. i'm used to service!

I wonder if it's too late to cancel my order and re-order through 101...

I've gotten only 2 things so far from fluid vapes. Both arrived in 3 business days. They did have to replace a dna30 for me and even then, they emailed me a return label and had the replacement on the way the day after I put the returned one in the mail. The replacement DNA 30 arrived today, not a mark on it and is working perfect so far.

Well i'm hoping my experience will be like your, HD. I'd really like it if it shipped out tomorrow, as I did pay for 2 day shipping. I'm probably just being too critical at this point, but it irks me when i pay for expedited shipping and it takes 3+ days to process the order.

There are a couple of us on this forum that got shipped batch 1 dna30 clones. Fluid Vapes said it was a mistake and they are replacing them. Got mine today. I think they are trying to do the right thing and verify that everyone they are shipping now is the batch 2 models with the smaller 510 pin. Just IMO.

that's good to hear. i got bored today and checked their return policy. i did not like what i saw. maybe that was for wholesale goods. i still would have waited the day for 101vape, if i knew.

been told i have the second batch, also been told i have the first batch and to tell ya the truth i don't know.....what is the problem with the wider pin anyway and i mean this respectfully?.....i'm not having any problems with mine since i tightened up my atty's a bit.....sometimes i do have to press the fire button twice to come out of sleep but not every-time.....also using a 510 to 510 ego adapter with a wide beauty ring and have NOT just screwed atty's straight onto the original 510 base....tried my KF and it works great and every RDA i've tried has also worked......someone please enlighten me on the difference, and now i'm wondering if i should inquire about an exchange w/F.V.

If you have to press more than once to come out of sleep mode it is from the first batch. Their is very little clearance between the actual pin and the wall of the 510 connector. This can short very easily. Plus there were a couple of other hardware improvements, not sure what, and around 10 firmware improvements. I would check on an exchange.

thanks for the reply, just looked at the 510 pin again real close and there is a nice gap all the way around and it's even.....and on the coming out of sleep press maybe once out of 5 times i have to press twice but it could be me cause i always use a light press.

Edit, tried twice now coming out of sleep, fired on first press both times; made sure to press firmly

I am now the proud owner of a red Cana DNA30. I ordered it from WetVapes on Friday, it was shipped the same day and I received it on Monday. 101 Vapes was out of stock so I paid $10 more for it and I didn't get a tracking number, but I sure got it fast.

I've been using it a lot since I got it and I haven't had any issues. I'm very happy with it so far. I got it for myself as a reward for my 1 year vapiversary. :)

My only complaint so far is the fact that it's time consuming to change the battery, and the threaded holes for the back aren't steel inserts. I may remedy that with threaded steel inserts and custom thumbscrews.

Too much time - takes me about 45 seconds to unscrew the cover, remove the battery, insert the charged battery, place the cover, and tighten the screws. Once or twice a day, I find time for it.

But the product was not made with those intentions, that is why it is not an easily removable back plate......

If was not made with those intentions then it probably would have had no screws, or screws that required a special driver, or four screws - and if two screws are not easily to remove - please refrain from changing a lightbulb. Sorry about that.

28 years designing and building machines, gages, fixtures and dies have caused me to improve nearly everything I buy...so that's what I do, I modify to fit my needs.
If I had your concerns I'd be replacing the screws with magnets or Dzus fasters!

Just took the jump and ordered a red Cana from Fulid Vapes. Can I post here yet, or do I have to wait until I have device in hand? :p
Oh man - you posted in the wrong thread!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well hold on a minute, you ordered it, you paid for it - so I guess you are an owner (just without possession) - so go ahead post away!!!!

Geese, I bet there are some that have not even plucked down the cash yet that are posting here (just harassing Herb). LOL

What kind of dripper set up do you guys recommend for this mod? I usually subohm on my mechs but with the resistance lower than .5, the voltage is lackluster at 30 watts. I'm finding that a 1.3 single coil is currently more efficient but its still not my cup of tea.

When I ordered the CNA 30 I planned on using it at 1.1 - 1.4 ohms. I've pretty much settled in around .7 - .8 builds anyplace from 15-30 watts as strikes my fancy at the moment. I do have one RDA at 1.3 ohms and use it quite often as well.

For RDAs - I think any of all the ones mentioned in this thread are all good. To me it seems that the builds and wicking make or break the vaping experience more so than the RDA.

Of coarse Murphy's Law will pertain with folks removing and re installing the battery on a regular basis. Since the battery can be put in backwards it will be sooner or later by some folks. The more routine it becomes the less one will pay a lot of attention to the job.:2c:

You just had to go and bring up my cousin Murphy!!! And the battery companies do not necessarily help with labels on in all sorts of directions - so here is how I hope to ward off my cousin. Works 99.99% of the time - but damn it when Murphy shows up.

Ok so I give up, I've decided to take all the positive stuff I've heard into consideration and I've ordered 2 blue ones from Elev8vape.

Question for anyone who's ordered from there, there is a Google docs page on the product description that shows some numbers. Supposedly it gives indication of what's been shipped out, is that your order number?
