UPDATE:

I received a battery manufacturer response this morning, particularly for the IMR 18650 1500 mah and the 4.8V NiMH 600's.

The generic IMR 18650 1500 mah, that many places are selling between $8-$10/ea, are actually $2.16/ea wholesale, plus S/H.

And the generic IMR 18350 7/800 mah, that many places are selling between $7-$8/ea, are actually $1.83/ea wholesale, plus S/H.

However, after seeing this latest graph and doing quite a bit of reading....I think that we can finally put the AW debate to rest!! Cuz the new Panasonic CGR18650CH RULES...PERIOD!

Reference: mitro's pile of battery graphs | BudgetLightForum.com

http://i1117.photobucket.com/albums/k588/mitro74/bt/CK IMR 2250/18650s3a.gif

The black trace is the Panasonic 18650 2250 mah and the red trace is the AW IMR 18650 1600 mah.

So if you missed the video a few pages back, here it is again....comparing the new Panasonic against the AW!

Bye-bye AW, hellloooo Panasonic!!

Still waiting for a wholesale offer on these new Panasonic cells, cuz I think that these will be the one's going into the LT coop!!

I still want one of these. Is this CoOp for US citizens only??? I only just realised now after Dirty's post. :(

If you know someone in the US that's willing to purchase and ship the item for you, anyone that's outside of the US can participate.

This is another reason why I ask people in here, repeatedly, to read the entire thread and following along....as I post updates often.

I read most of what was posted on this thread, that is why I was double checking.

Your original post said

"ATTN: If you're living outside of the continental United States and are interested, please include your city/state/zip/country into your post and I will review various international shipping rates for your country."

This has changed to, if you know someone inside the US who will post for you. That's OK, i'll pass on the co-op.

are we able to get 18350 batteries for this? the 18650 is cool if using the thing with an extension at home, but i'm not lugging a huge contraption around with me so was hoping we could get some 18350 batteries.

I already have quotes for the inexpensive ones, if you scroll up a bit to post #1051:

And the generic IMR 18350 7/800 mah, that many places are selling between $7-$8/ea, are actually $1.83/ea wholesale, plus S/H.

But I'm working on locating higher quality ones too.

I'm planning on including at least (2) of the 18650 & the 18350 size batteries for each LT unit.
