A question: I was reading a bit about Chinese new year, the customs, etc and it seems WHEN companies return to work varies a bit, some on Jan 31, some on Feb 2-3, others Feb 5-6

Might you have any clue when L-Rider will be back in the office?

from reading your post, it sounded like you were just going with 18650 batteries.

I already have quotes for the inexpensive ones, if you scroll up a bit to post #1051:

And the generic IMR 18350 7/800 mah, that many places are selling between $7-$8/ea, are actually $1.83/ea wholesale, plus S/H.

But I'm working on locating higher quality ones too.

I'm planning on including at least (2) of the 18650 & the 18350 size batteries for each LT unit.

Got a quote for 400 cells (for now) at $3.52/ea.

I'm getting several supplier quotes, but this is the first one to respond.

have you gotten anywhere on those control modules? If this has been addressed already, I apologize. I scanned all pages up to now and must have missed it. I am very interested in buying some of these. also interested in the panasonic batteries. I'm usually using flat-batts but their performance should make up for the size increase.

Don worry about it, WL....extra batts in everyone's order isn't an issue.
