Both posters above are spot on. I prefer the beadalon ones. I had those metal ones before I got them and they work great but not as compact as the beadalon ones. I also have more spoils than beadalons soil have to use those metal ones on some too :)
I ordered the metal fly fishing type, I'll give them a whirl, if they don't work out it's on to the beadalons.

Don't tell me there's a Coil Master 4 already, saw your CM3 review just recently? :)

Sorry folks I got the last Amazon "Prime" BEADALON, good news, they still have them in stock at half the price I paid for the 3 pack. Russ has to keep the bead folks in business! :smokie:
No just the V3. I've got 15 to give away and a movie to tell ya how to get one free :)

I figured, just trying to keep you honest! :)
Thanks for the recommendation on the Beadalon, it's perfect for the task, glad the bead/wire hobby crafts like Ecigs so much, to make accessories for us!

I've got the coilmaster kit based on a superx youtube review...no regrets - it does a consistently wonderful job of wrapping my coils in an instant...use the 2.5mm tube usually with 2 extra wraps....then use the PBusardo method of pulling 2 away with needle nose....excellent coil with no fiddling after mounting.

Been vaping for a looong time...never has vaping been so convenient or economical...these are the good old days folks, we are the pioneers, ecigs the wild west, the fda, big tobacco, pharma, etc are the indians. Circle the wagons.

oops went off on a tangent, there.

Happy Sunday!

Vape ON!

I do the same, except that I find just 1 extra wrap is all that's necessary, for me. I just pull the extra wrap back out with the pliers.

What does pulling the last coil or two do? I've watched Mr. Drifter do it, but I have no idea why.

Most call them starter wraps, since they are not as tight and removal from the CM can also disturb your wonderful coil wraps, you simply over wrap, and then pull off those ugly first wraps.

I received my V3 over the weekend and have to say I really like the longer rods on this version much better than the V2. They should've release the V2 like this though, so as to save some money in the long run. This will be the last version I buy as of now though...

I planned ahead when I bought my Beadalon's by getting 10 of them. Have 8 in use, 2 to grow with. Got mine from Artbeads.com. While at it I also picked up a great long awl with many uses for vaping and a couple of hundred smaller ziplock bags in 2 sizes from them at the same time. Free shipping, took about a week to get here.

I got some kind of freakish amazon.ca deal for the beadalon's - 25 for, like, $15. Kept 10 (between round in several gauges, ribbon, Ni200, and nichrome, I needed them), gifted the others to friends who assure me that my karma account is in good standing.

Been holding out on the V3 CM, but those longer pins are calling.
