Not advisable... Even if you bring in yourself parts of it, it's an expensive gamble... Three zeroes...!

You see, nic is bound in a compound called ejuice. It's not pure per se.

Technically, hobbyist gardeners could get arrested and charged for possessing weed killer, a chemical high in nic concentration. Heck, they could even be charged with possessing materials to make explosives with fertilizers which are again high in potassium nitrate I don't know...

Well, it's just a theory. Everything lies in the intention...

I'm not sure whethe nic weed killer is avail in singapore but I'm sure that weed killer nic cannot be used to vape. Weed killer nic is nicotine sulphate instead of the freebase nic used in juices.

Yeah you're right it's all about intent and quantity. 50ml of 90mg juice is more likely to land you a fine compared to 50ml of 18mg.

There's a caveat in the Poison's Act though. Get a chemist's license and u can get license to trade in Poison's listed in the poisons act.

Prohibition on imitation tobacco products
In Singapore, electronic cigarettes (e-cigarettes) are currently prohibited under Secion 16 (1) of the Tobacco (Control of Advertisements and Sale) Act, which is enforced by the Health Sciences AEuthority (HSA).
Those guilty of the offence are liable to a fine of up to $5, 000 upon conviction.

And how come tt new supplier kena 15k...? Unless he was faced with 3 charges. But tt would mean he went to court. Any news on this?

In accordance to the spirit of this post, I've dug out one of my old posts and pasted it here. All info can be found in Singapore Statues in AGC's website.

Pursuant to Para 2 of Tobacco (Control of Advertisements and Sale) Act,

"tobacco product” means any cigarette, cigar or any other form of tobacco, or any tobacco derivative or substitute, including any mixture containing tobacco, or any tobacco derivative or substitute, but excludes any medicinal product registered under the Medicines Act (Cap.176)

“tobacco substitute” means any article, object or thing that contains nicotine, but excludes tobacco, tobacco derivatives and any medicinal product registered under the Medicines Act."

“use”, in relation to any tobacco product, means smoking, chewing, inhaling, ingesting or otherwise introducing the tobacco product or any of its constituents or emissions into the human body (whether by oral means or otherwise);

PV/e-cigs/electronic nicotine delivery devices are, therefore, classified as a Tobacco product/substitute.

Pursuant to Smoking (Prohibition in Certain Places) Act,

“smoking”, with its grammatical variations, means inhaling and expelling the smoke of tobacco or any other substance and includes the holding of any cigar, cigarette, pipe or any other form of tobacco product which is alight or emitting smoke;

So no you may not vape in places that analogue smoking is prohibited.

If you're wondering whether is it or is it not illegal, as long as HSA says it is illegal, it is illegal. Because the Tobacco (Control of Advertisements and Sale) Act is a statute and it is up to the Chief Executive of HSA to determine it's interpretation of the
regulations stated.

This is e-cig
E-Cigarette.jpg

This is a Personal Vaporizer. And it doesn't resemble a tobacco product or the packaging of which is designed to resemble the packaging commonly associated with tobacco products as per Secion 16 (1) of the Tobacco (Control of Advertisements and Sale) Act, which is enforced by the Health Sciences Authority (HSA).

I bought this from Guardian/Unity before. NICORETTE® Inhaler – Stop smoking with NICORETTE® nicotine inhaler
Why is this allowed and not PV. The reason why I stop using was coz there is no throathit from this little buggers. End up, I inhale more nicotine for the day. After sucking on these, i go take a smoke. Tried for 30days and no go. I quit smoking after using PV for 3 days!!
