Welcome jcalis1394 :)

Thank you! Can't wait till I get my hands on the REO Grand!

...wait a minute, shouldn't I be cursing you for being the mastermind behind this REO disease? CURS--is it here yet?! :D

On a serious note, I find the fact that you find time to come to the forums and interact with the community really amazing, shows true dedication. Thanks!!

As much as I want a VVW, I'm not going to jump into the mad scramble. I'd rather retain Reosville friends and protect my heart...things just aren't worth it. :)

Actually, even when it gets "bloody"....it is friendly with everyone well-wishing everyone else and everyone congratulating everyone who got the one he/she wanted. It's a sight to behold. Very civilized bunch of cannibals, actually. And it's sooooo exciting. There is build-up for weeks and weeks before the release date with pictures of the woodvils at various stages of development....it's all just awesome.

It's really nice for everyone to get a REO when they want one....that's a really nice development that has evolved over time. Either Rob is working ten times harder or ten times smarter because early on the demand was so huge that there was no way to keep anything on the site. They would appear in batches and they were gone as fast as they appeared, even for the metal REOs. Now there are at least a few of every style on the site at all times.

Having a new batch of Woodvils will be like the old days when the excitement built up over time to the boiling point of sale night.

You guys are so mean. I nicely asked for a doctor, you refuse to give me any information about one, and then I have to face the consequences alone. I will resist the temptation, I won't be a goner I swear I'm stronger than----

Oh wait...what am I saying, I just pulled the trigger. :D Black Wrinkle REO Grand on its way with a reomizer 2.0, some kanthal wire and silica wicks to get me started, along with 2 6ml bottle+tube kit and 4 6ml bottles:vapor: Now unto the battery charger, I already have a 18650 battery that I got with my Provari, then again I'm going to need more than one :2cool: and a charger, and an ohm's meter and voltage meter. Oh damn, brb.

:vapor::D:vapor:

Another one bites the dust :D

Now comes the hard part -- the waiting.....

Welcome to Reoville, this requires a :banana::banana::banana::banana::banana: dance

Coming soon. REO Trek to explore new worlds and populate them with REOnuts. Bringing the extra-terrestrial biological entities towards Self-REOlization.

Never forget, Space Aliens need vapor also. Vapor is vital for keeping Outer Space clean and providing moisture with its vast billowing clouds. The best vapor producers comes from REOs used with RM2s of course!

spreading the word and the Word is REO

<-- proud to be a REOnut :D

I haven't read the full thread and I'm sure someone has already said this. buy a Reo get the RM2 rba better yet get two of them. buy extra spring and juice bottles. Put your different juices in the bottles and it's a done deal. I won't even go into how easy it is to get your money back if you don't like it. Because you will like it. If you're worried about rebuilding check out the vids by Super, Vapdiver, and Stats. You won't believe how easy it is.

Reo World Domination, anybody got prototypes for the flag? And we need an anthem.

Raynman I partially did what you said. Got an RM2 RBA, but not two. Although there's no doubt in my mind if it's as good and easy as everyone says, I'll be getting two...no wait three...em, a "couple" more :D Didn't get an extra spring but did get a bunch of juice bottles. I was also looking at the repair kit, but since my wallet is a bit tight from all the latest purchases, I'll leave it for later. After all I don't think I'll be needing it anytime soon. I did buy 5 Smoktech cartomizers from Rob's site as well, because I'm a big flavor sampler so I need some inexpensive good attys/cartomizers for that.

Time to wait! Oh the PAIN! IT HURTS!

Will be posting pictures, videos, documentaries, series, movies and sequels when I get it. Wait that's a bit too much...Nah

I had a dream, and that dream was, a DNA 20D in a Reo Grand. Lol. What else to do while waiting for a first time Reo other than reading, about Reos!

No really, I like mechanicals because they have no circuits or electronics, and in Reo's case it's built like a tank, hell, more than a tank, and it's sexy. I also like the fact that since they have no electronics, pretty much most of what can go wrong can be repaired by the user. On top of that, specially in a box shaped mod, there's space for modding. My first REO I'll most likely keep it 100% mechanical as is, but the next one (oh crap "next one" without having gotten the first one yet) which will probably be another grand, I'd like to try modding it. I thought about adding a Kick 2 to it, but the DNA 20D with a 20 watt limit would be better for me.

I couldn't find any information regarding this. Attempting to assemble a DNA 20D into a Reo Grand. Given the fact that you can buy the DNA 20D chip itself (Our Products « Evolv) I'd love to know if it's, at least, a possibility. Yes, I love tinkering with my gear :D

Aaaalright I think I'm getting into complicated areas without having even opened the door yet :D I tend to do that...a lot.

Thanks! Can you give me a spare key in the meantime?:toast::toast:

I vape only 0 nic. I'm glad to know thick juices perform well on the REO :D.

I vape 18 mg 50/50 normally, mostly butterscotch blends. Tonight I put 0 nic/0 flavor 100% VG in a REO with 1.5 ohm microcoil, cotton wick and I was pleasantly surprised at how good it is. I'm going to keep one loaded like that from now on.

A lot of REOnauts vape really thick VG.

Welcome to REOville.

I have a REO Grand and a DNA20 bogger box. I can tell you that there is no room in the Reo for a DNA chip. OTOH, my wife has a VVG. The Reo has an area that is set aside for the chip and other electronics. The chip that is in the VVG can be replaced with a DNA chip. You would need to use a different cover for the electronics bay so you could see the display of the DNA. The size of the bb and the VVG are about the same, so there should be room in it.

Even if you could mod the Grand to add the chip, the firing pin setup on the Grand would not work well with that mod. You would (more than likely) end up using a different battery, which is one of the selling points of the Grand (IMHO).

So, bottom line, if you want to mod a Reo to add the DNA chip, I would suggest that you use the VVG as your base model, rather than the standard Grand.

Thanks! I usually do 50/50 or 80/20 PG/VG. I'm looking at Virgin Vapors for 100% VG, they seem to have quite a good reputation. Also got my first DIY supplies on the way. I couldn't wait :D, for $35 at Wizard Labs can't beat what you are getting. Extremely cheap.

Great information right there. I just took a look at the VV Reo and realized what you are saying. Should be interesting to mess with in the near future. While it'd cheaper and easier to just get a Bogger Box I think having a DNA20 chip in the Reo is very well worth the cash and hassle.

By the way in the area of sub-ohm vaping, how does the Reo perform? Tried to look up info on it but first thing that pops is a thread and video review about high voltage drop at sub-ohm. However after watching that video (I'm quite sure a lot of you know which one I'm talking about :p) I couldn't take it seriously. Lacking many things and found it to be more of a "trying to bash Reo" instead of a resourceful review. On top of that, only ONE *questionable* bad review in a specific area that is sub-ohm, I couldn't find anything else or anyone else point out a flaw. Amazing! Also read about experienced owners getting 3.6v on a .7 ohm which is awesome! The only reason I ask is because, well, mechanicals and sub-ohm go hand by hand. While I won't get into those extreme .3 or .5 ohm coils, I'd probably only go as low as .6 ohms once I get the hang of RBAs.

On a side note, barely using my Provari with tanks. Once you taste the dripping sweetness of bridgeless attys going back to a tank/clearo is a punch in the face downgrade. Hell, barely using my Provari at all. Using a small eGo battery, since I'm going to sell it once I get verified I'd rather not use it so it stays brand new.
