I haven't checked the weather here but sure do hope for some afternoon storms. I love a good storm. It's relaxing to me. I know. I;m strange.

I think I've found the tool chest I'm going to get for hubby at Home Depot. I'm going to wait until after the Amazon sale in case they have a better deal. His burthday isn't until the end of the month but thinking of going ahead and getting it and the tiny drawer caddy and give it to him early. I'll have to use the truck to get it so will probably do that on Friday.

Good news....I've noticed a huge difference in Shreks skin since we started the BARF diet along with the supplements I'm loading him up with. Hopefully it will continue to improve. We're thinking probably seasonal allergies and or a food allergy or combo there of. It's supposed to take up to 3 months before we willl see the full benefits of the new food diet they are on. I"ve started Shrek on apple cider vinegar spray daily and brewers yeast to his food and omega 3.Oh, and coconut oil too.

Hubby got me hooked on Game of Thrones. I just finished watching the whole series on the Roku. Anyone else watch it?

My next big organizing project will to transfer my herbs to mason jars, label them and then put them in alphabetical order on the bookshelf. Sounds fun, huh?

Good morning everyone!

I HAVE HOUSE BLEND!!!! MmmmmmmmmmSoYummymmmmm. I checked the tracking on it, and sure enough, it never went through Charlotte. I dont think Ive ever had anything shipped to me that didnt pass through Charlotte. Wierd.

Today is Amazon Prime Day!!!

Before I went to bed, there was a line of storms bearing down on us. But I fell asleep in less than 14 seconds after my head hit the pillow, and didnt move again until my alarm went off at 5:00 this morning. I never felt Mrs E come to bed. I never heard the kids get up because of the storms. I never heard the storms. I was OUT.

Tonight is another gym night. I'm not really looking forward to it, but as of this morning, I'm about a half a pound away from my pre-vacation weight. I'm hoping I can hit that number by the end of the week, then really git ta gittin' on my next goal. Mrs E is already going crazy about my clothes. I cant wear about half of my t-shirts. The other half are too big, but not by too much. All of my jeans will fall unimpeded off my backside if I dont wear a belt. For the various sports the kids play, she and I will buy the team's t-shirts, so she and I have several shirts that are identical. I inadvertently grabbed one of hers as I was getting ready for the gym last night. She was less than happy to see that her shirt fit me better than if fit her! It was still a bit too snug for the gym though. That means that I am no longer a 2XL, or an XL. I can wear an L! And I can fit comfortably in pants/shorts with a 34" waist! I'll never be small enough for a smaller shirt, but I'm shooting to be in 32" pants in about two month!!!

Morning posse! Prime day is a bit crazy. There's so much on sale it's hard to find things. I did score a new kindle fire for Haley. Hers had long ago crapped out.
Mom gets to go home Friday! A friend and I are going to move some stuff around in here house after work today so she'll be able to get around in the wheelchair.

I haven't checked out the Prime sale yet. I just got home from work. It's hot, hot, hot!!! One of the dogs I did today the owner is probably going to be pizzed at me. She requested that I do clean feet (like poodle feet, shaved clean) on her dog but every time I lifted the dogs feet up it screamed like a banshee and tugged it's foot away. I finally gave up. The shop is a mess right now with the expansion construction going on. They've gotten a lot done in the past couple of days so it shouldn't take that much longer.

I snuck by the gas station for a monster java on my way home. Hoping the kids don't notice because I didn't get them anything.

James, congrats on getting into those smaller clothes! Feels good, doesn't it? I'm fitting in stuff that I haven't been able to wear in a while too. It's like getting a whole new wardrobe.

I hope your mom continues to do well, JD.

Off to check out the sale....

Mrs E had to take Kat to the urgent care today. Apparently, SOMEone has her annual case of strep throat. Thankfully, she's only contagious for another two days until the antibiotics kick in. She'll have to forgo practice tomorrow, but should be able to play in her tournament this weekend.

Time to get outta here. And back to the gym. Mrs E needs to start getting her .... to the gym too. If she doesnt, we're not going to get reimbursed for her cost of the membership... :grr:

grrrr. Nothing in my wish list is on the sale.
Yeah, nothing really jumped out at me, either.

Good morning all!

Looking at another warm day in the Carolinas, but its actually closer to the "normal" heat. Still going to be right around 90. Its going to feel warm, but cooler than the 97+ temps we've had all week. To celebrate, Im riding the bike today and tomorrow.

Speaking of celebrations... My little man is seven years old today! I thought about waking him up to tell him happy birthday, but I knew if I did, he wouldnt go back to sleep, which would aggravate Mrs E. So, it will have to wait until I get home. We've got a small party planned for him tomorrow evening. Just a few friends and family members. Going to let the kids jump on the trampoline and grill up some hotdogs. Nothing fancy, but he should enjoy it.

FV, youre turning into a crazy chicken lady. Not dissimilar to the crazy cat lady on the Simpsons.

Drott, I'm not sure if thats a likable post or not...

Has anyone heard from Stretchy lately? I've been kinda concerned about her lately. And Voo, too, for that matter.

Happy birthday, CJ!!

Good morning. I have no idea what the weather is today. I haven't checked. I'm assuming it will be hot, as usual.

The kids both have a doctor appointment at 12 but I anticipate being there for a couple of hours in wait time. I love the doctor they see but he is always behind. I'm ok with that since the reason he's always behind is because he actually takes whatever time is needed for each patient instead of herding them in and out like cattle.

The kids will be less than thrilled about their chore list today. I woke up to a mess in the kitchen, clothes all over MY bedroom floor, and the clean laundry piled on the floor in the hallway. Since I went to sleep before them last night and it did not look like that when I went to bed then I know one or both of them did it. This happens regularly around here and I am really sick of it. Their chore list involves basically cleaning the entire house from the bathrooms, to dusting and floors. And the kitchen floor will be done with a scrub brush. When we get back from their appointment they have to do the chores before they can get on the computer or do anything else remotely considered fun. After the inevitable argument that they will put up I will happily sit on the couch and watch them.

I also need to call the state vocational rehab program and see about getting Alex on the list. He insists that he doesn't need it. I told him to show me he doesn't need it but he has yet to do that. I don't know what else to do with him so this is what we've come up with and hope we can get him on the list.

I'm done griping now. Hope everyone has a great day!

Good morning!

Bummer Drott, I hate when that happens.

James, I am not the crazy chicken lady. I am now the crazy duck lady. ;) I'll be selling off the coop of laying hens shortly. They are all getting their pics taken tonight so I can post them. I'm keeping the 6 polish, and we chose 9 duckies to take home.

Tiff, kids are supposed to do the housework. That's why we have them.

Stretch is alive, that's all I know about here. Voo is missing. I can't get a hold of her lately. And it's freaking me out.

Session is alive and well. Just heard from him.

I never said "crazy chicken lady"! I said "crazy bird lady!" I WIN!!!!

I agree with FV about the kids and chores. I havent cleaned anything in my house in months! I make the kids do it. Of course, it's not done to perfection, but it does keep them busy and the house nearly livable.

Good to know that at least SOME of the Posse is alive. I wish they would check in.

Bah. If you look, that edit was done within minutes of posting it! I realized my mistake of vocabulary almost as soon as it posted. Your reply to my corrected post nearly four hours later makes your argument invalid.

witchdoctor forum voodoo IS admissible in court.

I WIN!!!!
