Customer just left, here was the convo:
Her: It's warm in here.
Me: yes, it's a bit warm today.
Her: It really is warm in here.
Me: We don't have air conditioning.
Her: It's warm though.
Me: Yes, but it is nicer in here than outside.
Her: It's still warm in here.
Me: Thanks for stopping by to tell me this, have a great day.
UGH.
Edit: Just checked, it's 72 in the building.
People (customers mostly) are strange, I waited on several of them yesterday.
My favorite of the day:
Customer comes in, wants to mail box to another town in PA. It's a gift box sort of thing, so I offer her the little cube shape Priority box, which is sturdier. She then proceeds to stuff the gift box INTO the Priority box, I was surprised to see it was even possible!
The trainee at the next window has turned away, obviously stifling laughter. I had to bite my tongue, and said, hmm maybe we could put just the contents in the other box?? Yes, she was blonde.

Good late morning. Yesterday was picture perfect. Today the humidity is inching back. Heard back from HR dec. 31st is Retirment day. On less I change my mind.

72 is cooler than we keep our house so it shouldn't be too hot. People are weird.
I can't figure out how to multi quote on this new forum set up which is why I've got four posts one right after another.
It's been a decent day. One dog was a pita and another was ok but both matted very badly. Had to shave both down close. Hope tomorrow is a pretty easy one.
I pressed a button and made the typing here way too small and can't figure out how to fix it.
After work I headed to Food Depot for their sale on meats and stocked up with some. Then I ran to the Dollar Tree. Decided to go to Walmart and finish groceries later this weekend. I did get stuff for dinner tonight. Morgan is cooking and we're having taco salads.
Hubby took Morgan to her yearly physical. All is good. We just had a Harbor Freight open here so hubby stopped by to check it out.
I finally made a doctor appointment for next week about the hip pain I'm having. It hasn't improved, only gotten worse over the past couple of months. I figured I can kill three birds with one stone by also telling her about how bad my vision has changed in the last few months and of course after my yearly eye exam. I''ll make a eye dr appointment after I see her. My new glasses are useless. They help for about the first 5 minutes I put them on and then everything gets blurry again. I can see far off just fine but up close, not so well. I'm pretty sure I have a UTI so will get her to check that out too. Should be a fun appointment.
That's about all I got. Hope everyone's Friday is going well.

Mr. V is over at the Humane Society with a chainsaw. They had a big tree come down from the storm. He volunteered right away, he gets to play outside this afternoon.

Time to get out of here and go sweat in traffic. Fridays are always horrible traffic days. The interstate I take to get home is backed up according to Google Maps. The back up route I take when the interstate is backed up is backed up. The back up to the back up route really isnt an option... When there's no traffic, its by far the fastest way home. But during the week, its faster to get caught in traffic. *sigh* Primary back up it is.
Today will not be a good diet day. Hot dogs. Chips. Cake.
That, on top of listening to some screaming kids. Should be a blast!
