What kind of convention? Will it be fun?

Granny is feeling a lot better today since she has some prednisone in her system. The chest xray was negative for pneumonia. I took her to get dog food and made a bank run for her and stopped by Longhorn on the way back to her house for lunch. I picked it up. We didn't stay there and eat. I got the chicken and strawberry salad. It was awesome.

I've spent pretty much the last hour and a half on the phone with a magazine company that charged my credit card for two subscriptions that I did not order. They're refunding and canceling. They tried to of course talk me into a lower fee. I was irritated and very plainly and firmlly said I don't want a magazine, I don't want anything free, all I want is a crredit on my card and any and all magazines canceled. He still said he could offer me whatever because I didn't give him a chance and just repeated what I had just said to him. Finally he said it would be refunded and stopped. Geesh. Then on to the phone I went to call the Medicaid office to order a booklet they talked about in the minimum amount of info they sent me yesterday with Alex's id card. After jumping through about 10 hoops and three different people someone finally knew what I was talking about. It should be here next week sometime. I can't believe they wouln't just send it to begin with to new people. PITA phone calls are now done.

Now trying to light a fire under Morgan's tail to get her chores done. I was irritated with both the kids this morning so they both got some carppy chores today.

Hope everyone is ok.

I had a bad vape day today. :( Totally my own fault, I only took one setup, a 40w iStick with a subtank with the clear bell top cap on it. I managed to break it. It was in my back pocket, and I bent over to pick up a parcel from the floor, and I heard a snap. Reached in my pocket, and the clear center post had snapped, and the threads stripped making the whole cap come apart from the base. Luckily I caught it quickly enough that I didn't get a pocket full of juice. And that was just before 9 am, so I had to spend the rest of the day with NO VAPE!! Ya, I was a little "cranky".

FV... Youre out of your mind. I understand why youre leaving checkout open, but I dont even want to know how busy youre going to be for a week after you get back.

Bamrz, i know how that feels. It sucks.

TODAY IS MY VAPERVERSARY!!! I remember my first cigalike well. A gas station bought 810. It was horrible. But it was enough to pique my interests! Four years later, here I am, tobacco free!

Kat's volleyball team won again. They are still undefeated. Kat didnt have a great game, and we think she has a broken finger... Naturally.... No insurance. Ungh.

Got the bbq in the oven warming up. Waiting on Mrs E to get home with Kat so we can eat.

Y'all have a goodnight.

OK, we all have dogs. Does anyone else tell their dog to do something, not because you think it will actually happen, but because in a perfect world, it's what you'd really like your dog to do? This morning (like most) Xena was standing near the edge of the bed and barking at the cats. One alarm clock had gone off, but I still had about 10 more minutes until the next one, so I told her to lay down and be quiet - AND SHE DID! I still can't believe it really happened!

 Yes, I do the same thing at home and work too. I'm constantly around dogs so I have to speak to somebody.

Shrek can be laying on the floor in the living room. Morgan goes to bed but soon calls one of us. All we have to do is tell Shrek to go put Morgan to sleep he goes straight to her room and jumps on her bed. He'll stay in there pretty much all night.

Happy Friday morning!! It's one day closer until hubby will come home for a couple of days.

Today is a work day. I have to run some errands when I get off from work. Surprisingly I do not have to go to the Target pharmacy today.

My parents and sister and bil leave this morning for the cruise. Wish I could have gone. I'll be the only one in our immediate family that won't be there. I seriously need to win the lottery.

Hope everyone's day is great!

Ya'll are probably right. My mom would drive me batty and I wouldn't really have anyone to hang out with except my mom since my sister's husband is going too and my other sister, the one that's getting married on the cruise, has tons of friends she's doing stuff with. I'd probably feel like the fifth wheel. Although I am fairly used to that at all family gatherings, hubby's and mine.

Have a good night! Hope you can get some rest.

Morgan, Morgan, Morgan........14 years old, has done things over and over and got her phone taken away three times. The most recent was for three months. Some one just called her on my phone and it sounded an awful lot like a boy. That I don't mind. What I do mind is not letting her go alone with this kid to the county fair tomorrow. I told her no just as I'm sure hubby would too. She said he's "just a friend". Don't care. Socialize with him at school or on the phone a reasonable amouth of time. Why in the world would she say she could go when she knows we would say no. Ed would absolutely come undone. You guys have kids older than mine. What would you do? Leet her go, let her go and follow her secretely around, or flat out no like I said. She's not the most trustworthy kid in the world. I feel bad because when I was her age I got to do a lot of the things we have told her no about. A 14 year old boy and a 14year old girl together alone at the fair. Nope I just can't do it.
