Another day in paradise in the huts. It's pouring out, blech.

Remember the logging fiasco? Our neighbor ended up giving them permission to cut the road through their woods. It's ghastly. Tonight the neighbor calls us, upset that WE logged their woods.

Neighbor: When I gave you permission to log, you didn't tell me you were going to cut down the trees. I know it's now water under the bridge, but I revoke my permission.
Mr. V: You didn't give me permission to log, I did not log, I did not cut down your trees. That was Chang. You gave him and his logger permission to log your land. I have nothing to do with it. Call Chang.
Neighbor: But I remember talking to you about it.
Mr. V: Yes Ma'am you did talk to me. I called you to tell you that loggers were on your property, and asked if they had your permission. You said they did, so there was nothing I could do about it.
Neighbor: But don't you own the road? They're wrecking it with those trucks!
Mr. V: I do not own the road. And yes, they are wrecking it. We tried to stop it, but you are the one that gave them permission to do so.
Neighbor: Well it looks awful.
Mr. V: Yes it does, and thank you for that.
Neighbor: Okay, thank you.

Now we are awaiting the letter from neighbors lawyer regarding our logging of their property. OMG.

Good morning!

Yes, I think they did not understand what they were agreeing to. They didn't get any money for it. This is the same people that were dumping brush in my driveway because someone else told them it was okay, then called a lawyer when I told them they had no right on our land. Karma.

Today, tomorrow, then one off. boo hiss.

Good morning. Both kids went to their respective destinations without incident this morning. Morgan had on a ghastly outfit. I tried to warn her so hopefully no one said anything about it.

Alex went with out a fight this morning. Looking like hubby's chat with him the other night has helped. He has the SAT tomorrow morning. He already told me he wasn't doing it. I am dropping him off at the place to take it then I am going to work. I will pick him up when it is over. If he decides not to go into the testing room then he will have to sit there 3 to 4 hours until I finish at work. He better take that dam test!

Hubby should be home soon from hunting. I've already been to walmart for groceries and had an oil change. Working on some house work and that's the sum of it today.

Afternoon all. Nothing new here. Staying busy. Weather is back to garbage. We cant put anything in the truck to storage until it stops raining. Which it wont. Until next week. It's still really warm here though. over 75, I think.

And my wife is rushing me out of the house, so I gotta get going. Talk to y'all later!!!

@efirdj where is the leak coming from, any clue? Really strange for a bike to just start leaking like that (unless it's a Harley!)
No idea. It may be slightly over filled, but honestly, I havent really had a chance to even check that. It looks ok on the kickstand, but that probably means it's high when level. I dunno.

I ended up not having to work tomorrow. I have to drop off Alex at 7:45 and then drop Morgan off at Geo's at 1030. That will make my schedule tomorrow so much easier even though I really do need to work. No dogs, no work. I'm taking a huge jump of faith in Morgan tomorrow. His mom said they would definitely be well supervised. Found out his dad is a preacher. And I'm almost certain he's adopted.

Morgan and I are going to meet my family at Olive Garden tonight for my uncles birthday. I've already looked up their menu on weight watchers and picked out several things that I could eat without blowing it.

Hubby got home. No luck hunting. He still enjoyed it. I would enjoy two days of nothing but me too, just not in the woods. A nice spa sounds good.

Teenage GIRL drama is running rampant in our house right now. A girl Morgan is supposed to be friends with sent me a fb message that said not to let her wear that outfit again and that she was only doing it to impress her boyfriend and that it offended her. First, inappropriate for kid to message me that. She needs to go to her mom and if then and only then it is warrraanted that I need to know her mom should call me. I don't want to hear this carp about not liking her outfit. I did say it was odd but in no way offensive or hurtful to someone else. Any way, I did not respond to her message but if it happens again I will call her mom to say that if it is a matter of the two of them spatting then I it is not pertinent to know every detail. I would appreicate it if her daughter would stop calling me commplaining about Morgan. This is the second time this has happened. Morgan says she doesn't want to be friends with her anymore but she said she doesn't know how to tell her because she is scared of her and that she gets very mad very fast over nothing. At this point I told Morgan to not hang out with her. If she is questioned then let her know that she thinks it is best if they are not friends anymore. Then walk away. Dont stop to argue. Don't get in a verbal war. Hold your head high and walk away. If the other kid causes problems over this then I will deal with it thhen but not by messaging this kid but by going through her parents, that is if it's even worth it. This kid reminds me of one of those kids on the movie Mean Girls. Drama.

Morgan had the most pathetic and heartbroken look on her face when she saw it. I really didn't intend to show her but she saw it anyway. Mean people suck!

Wow, I agree it's inappropriate! And a real shame that Morgan saw it. :(

And I wouldn't be surprised to find out that this girl's parents aren't so hot either. A couple times in HI I had to go talk to kids' parents about their behavior, and it was glaringly obvious why they were the way they were.

So very true. The first time she did this a few days ago she told me that someone told her that Morgan called her a name and that I should tell her to stop. She then said that her parents and herself want to talk to Morgan. I politely replied by saying that I would be more than wiling to talk to her mom but that there was no reason for them to speak with Morgan. We're her parents and will take care of things. Well she should be punished. I ignored her. Morgan said they were friends again for a few days and now this. Good riddance is what I say!

Olive Garden was delicious. Eggplant parmesan. I got full after half so brought the rest home for hubby. As of now Alex is going to take the SAT in the morning. He's worried he'll fail. We explains it was not a test to fail. Do your best is all we ask. My only concern is the essay part.

Good morning. Alex has been dropped off for the SAT. Not sure how long that will take but I'm thinking late morning to early afternoon. I'm dropping Morgan off at 10:30 and will probably pick her back up around 6 tonight. In between is housework and goofing off. Thought about going by my parents for a little bit but decided I wasn't in the mood to today.
