Not good Tiff, hopefully you have answers soon. :(

Banana bread is in process over here. I tried a sour cream banana bread recipe a few weeks back and it was really good. It was a bit sweet, so I cut back the sugar. First loaf is the test one for Mr. V, the rest are for gifts.

I'm awake. I went back to sleep when Morgan left. The anti nausea medicine makes me sleep and it was still lingering from last night. I was supposed to work today but obviously I'm not. Even if I could I don't have a car right now. It's still at my moms. Hubby will be home around 1 and we'll go get it this afternoon barring any vertigo issues.

Is everyone ready for Christmas?

Any ideas on some easy, almost no effort, kind of baking? I used to do it for everyone of the kids teachers, about 12 of them total. And everyone at work and aunts and uncles and siblings. I wouldn't mind doing it if it were super simple in time and ingredients this year. I am running out of time though.

I love chocolate dipped pretzels. I also make chocolate dipped ritz and peanut butter crackers. Oh and theres those crunchy chinese string looking things dipped in chocolate too. Thanks, that got my mind moving. I'll pick up some stuff this weekend when I get groceries.

Good afternoon taking a small break from cookies. Got a late start I actually slept 7 hrs. straight. Then I had 2 failed batches. I recovered them but not gift able. I followed the recipes to a t. Went back to old school. Grans always said that the recipe told you what to put in. Not neissaceraly the amount really needed. You'll know when your mixing what you need to add for consistency. Grams was right. I really miss her.
:lol: I'm spelling that one word soo bad that spell ck doesn't know how to spell it. Well pb cookie dough should be chilled. Off to make the cookies.

Maybe I'll do some shortbread cookies, they are rather easy.

I stink at cookies. When hubby and I dated I made him some chocolate chip cookies. He said he really liked them so I would periodically make a whole batch for him. Not until we got married did he tell me that the cookies really sucked but he didn't want to hurt my feelings. I don't make cookies anymore.

Soo the PB cookies have a buttery taste.:lol: Not going to work in my molasses cookies. Forgot to hit post.
