Good morning! I hope everyone is staying warm. We had 3 degrees this morning. Now it's up to a balmy 21. No clue what the wind chill is.

I'm with you on the global warming thing Punkin, but now they changed the term to climate change. The warming thing just wasn't working out.

I prefer my fish cooked a bit.

Feeling much better today. I actually went out and got my nails done since I postponed it yesterday. Afterwards I went to my mom's house and sat over there for an hour or so visiting. Tomorrow morning is the neurologist. I sure wish hubby were home and not off in the woods somewhere. I've talked to him everyday since he has left but still prefer him to be here.

Alex was still asleep when I got home but he had been up at some point because a cabinet door is open, cheese is all over the counter, coffee stuff left all over the other counter, a pan from where he cooked last night still on the stove with a mess beside it. Oh, and the hall blanket closet door was wide open with blankets on the floor. I was ticked to say the least. I woke him up in a not so pleasant way. The mess is now gone and he's finished his other chores as well.

I haven't even gone to look yet. I fell asleep right before Morgan got home and she woke me up at 6 wanting to know if I was ok. Yep, fine, just sleepy.
The kids are having sandwiches and I'm probably having another can of tomato soup with some cutie oranges or a pear. Maybe a frozen fruit bar later.

Oops. I think I got hubby in trouble with his mom. She called to see if I had the neurologist appointment tomorrow so I told her yes. She asked how I'd been so told her fine right now but Sunday and Monday were rough. Then she said "well Ed should be able to help you now. Isn't he off today?" Yes he is off but he is off hunting and will be back Thursday afternoon. WHAT!!?? He should have his azz home with you right now. I'll be shocked if she doesn't say something to him later. She said to call her or my fil if I end up needing a ride to the doctor or get stuck somewhere. Yikes, I hope hubby doesn't get yelled at too bad.

Good morning. How is everyone today?

I just got home from the neurologist about all the very strange stuff going with me lately. He came in the exam room and took me straight back to his office. He is somewhat hard to understand but I just kept asking "what?" until I got it. Basically he thinks I have an autonomic nervous system disorder that could be caused by something else unknown at this point or it could be a stand alone issue by itself. Even the symptoms that I thought had absolutely nothing to do with what is going on now are tied up in this as well. I'm glad I told him about them. It could possibly be triggered by Epstein Barr virus which I've had in the past and that particular virus can set off Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, which I have. I know, I didn't think it was something to care about until I got it and trust me, it's very real. Another possibility is that since I've lost over 100 pounds I'm on too much medication and my autonomic nervous system could be damaged due to the use of these meds over time. I'm supposed to get my other doctor to decrease some of them next time I go, next week. I have a test next week at the neurologists office and then go back to him in a month. No way to treat until we know the cause and I honestly don't know what the treatment is. I'm going to go do some internet searching. Just have to cope the best I can for now. A couple of years ago I had some trouble with passing out, syncope, and I saw this same doctor. They never found a cause for it then but he thinks it might be part of what's going on now. It could have been the first signs. So in a nutshell, he thinks at this point that my autonomic nervous system has been damaged.

Hope everyone is having a super day!

Been retired for 5 days. I'm bored. Filling out applications. Most places are on line just fill and hit send.

"Relax. Give it a chance. Enjoy a little time of not having the extra responsibility of doing what other people make you do. There is nothing wrong with being bored. Just remember, YOU don't have to go to work tomorrow and put up with all that crap! Eventually you will find something you like to do to add to your daily routine."

You didn't really think the above quote was from me, did ya?

I'm bored all the time and I'm retired for almost 12 years....
