Tiff, it's a start to an answer. So that's a good thing.

Drott, give it some time. Hobby maybe? Time to learn something fun and new?

not a chicken plucker.

Punkin, how's things in buggyland these days? How's the Mrs?

Just putting feelers out. 3 online 1 I have to drop off. 1 I have to dig up info I have no idea were I put. In the shack some were. None involve customers in my face constantly or runing homeland security checks on them. Or telling them their missing documents. Or saying I'm sorry ,or thank you a few hundred times a day.

The only thing that changes here lately is the weather. Mrs Punkin is trying her best to deal with her medical issues but modern medicine is limping along at a snails pace. We are now 100% VA doctors and no longer purchasing private medical insurance. $1200 per month with a family $8000 deductible just doesn't make any sense. I just read that obama health plans claim that 8 out of 10 that sign up for coverage pay only $50 per month with a $200 deductible. Yeah right and what do the other 2 pay?

Sorry, now back to my cave to hide...

Ouch punkin! You don't have to hide in your cave, honest.

Super excited to pick up the horn. I'm wondering if it's going to be like riding a bike, once you know it, it comes back to you. I'm okay with being wobbly for awhile. :D

Yikes, Punkin! That's outrageous.

Good luck with the horn, FV.

Hubby told me what to do to change the start up programs on the laptop but for the life of me it's not working. He'll be home tomorrow so I'll let him mess with it.

I'm tired of reading about the autonomic nervous system. On to something a bit more cheerful.

Well back from dropping off the application. If I would have known I was getting an on the spot interview I would have dressed nicer. They had me do a test on the computer. They had a fancy name for it. But to me it was anger management ? Drug and stealing? Mostly anger management and drugs.
Signed papers for a background check. I find it funny cause I was checked every 2-3 years and finger printed. If I pass I get to go for a DOT physical. That with all the new rules I might fail big time. With the new rules if the Dr thinks your necks to fat you fail. Oh well they pay poorly but do have health insurance. My reason for getting a job.

I ended up doing some cutting, writing, hole punching. Laminating. And decorating in the planner. I'm a bit more relaxed now. [emoji23] Its really starting to take shape with my life as I add more and more. It ended up with 9 sections and 5 subsections. Stiffed full of postys and color coded pens and highlighters. Every section has its own color and every person has their own highlighter color. Go ahead. Laugh. It's ok. It's also very fun to me like a useful hobby whivh also means I probably spend too much money on it.

Lost my marble and bought a french horn. Poor Mr. V, poor Victor, poor neighbors..... I pick it up tomorrow morning, so I'll be late to work.
Oh dear lord! Not sure if I told y'all that I used to play French Horn, but I would NEVER get another one! The only instruments I have in the house right now are a flute and a drum (a bodhran - Bodhrán - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia ) I can play the drum a bit, but haven't totally figured out the flute yet. :)

Yeeks Drott, what the heck kind of job is it? That's an awful lot of silliness.

Tiff, being organized helps most of us. Lots.

 Bamrz! I was first chair forever in school, so hopefully I'll be okay. We shall see. I also was the lake wake up call in the summer when Dad was sick of the neighbors partying until 3 am. He'd have me up doing revelry at 5am.

Going to look at the wiki, I need to know! I didn't know you were musical. :)

Y'all are just a chatty bunch today.

Did you have fun at TSC, Drott?

After granny's doctor appointment we went to lunch at a country style food buffet. Not a good idea for me. I ended up eating a salad but put thousand island dressing on it so kind of undid the healthy part of it. Then they had sweet potatoes and you know I can't resist a sweet potato. So basically I did not behave at lunch. I'll have to be extra careful the next few days now. Granny did give me some huge yellow squash that I plan to probably cook tomorrow night. No one but me will eat it here so I don't make it often. I'm thinking splitting them in half and wrapping in foil with a tiny pat of butter, salt, and pepper. Mmmmm! I took her home and sat and gossiped for about an hour. Hubby was home when I got here. No luck hunting but he still had fun. While I was gone Alex called and asked me what other chores I needed done besides what I wrote on the chore list today. He said he was feeling ok when I asked him. The past couple of days he's been a bit more attentive. I think hubby talked to him about me not feeling good lately. That's my guess.
Hope everyone is having a great day!
