I haven't checked yet. But it looks like there is one winner in CA. drats. Guess we'll all keep doing what we do, and hope for Posse Island next time.
Looks like there were 3. CA, TN, and FL. Maybe Violet won, she lives down in FL... :)

Good morning everyone!

What'd I miss?!

Not too much new here. Kids have a teacher workday today, so we're all being lazy. Well, I am. Kat's still asleep. Mel and CJ are taking turns playing video games and then snuggling up to me in bed and watching cartoons.

We've spent close to $500 on my pos Honda Accord. A pair of new tires. Apparently they arent supposed to have bumps in them. The exhaust was replaced. Apparently those aren't supposed to have four or five holes in them.

Mel and CJ are enjoying basketball. I'm not enjoying keeping up with their practice and game schedules though.

I've finally got two interviews scheduled. One is a phone interview for a telecom tech position in Charlotte. Very similar to what I've been doing since I got out of the Navy. The other is a multi-craft repair tech at a steel manufacturer, fixing presses, cutters, hydraulics, pneumatics, and robotics. And that's way outside of my experience, but the pay is really good at about $65k. And it's 3rd shift, which is also a good thing. But I doubt I'll get that one. I just don't know enough about robotics and hydraulics. My chances on the first one are pretty good though. Pay is fairly decent, but it's a contract to hire. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Aside from that, not too much has changed. Things are still working surprisingly well with all of us living with my parents.
