Girls are on a roll 6 yesterday 4 today.
Still working on reinstatement. Filled out the 6 pages and 6 page employee eval that I had to contact my old supervisor to get a copy of all now faxed it to the correct department. Yea.
Now its just a waiting game.

We're shortly heading to the inlaws for supper.

I got home and there was a letter for me from the regional TOPS (my weight loss place) director for this district. I got first place for the whole year in division three state winners. There is a conference in May and she sent the paperwork today but after reading about what I'd have to do I'm thinking I'm not going. First, it's at the individual chapters discretion as to whether they help pay for me to go. They don't seem to be very receptive to the whole idea of me winning and certainly have not said anything to me about if they will help. Second, I HATE, DETEST and LOATH crowds of people, especially when the attetntion is on me. They will have a ceremony for the state winners which I wold need to buy a nice dress or pantsuit and new shoes. I have to send in a "before" pic and an after pic and worst of all I have to write a speech on my "weight los journey) And read it to a crowd of people I don't knnw. The thught of that is the scariest. Undecided here.

You'd be getting away from the kids. Just pretend it us your CC family your giving the speech to. After all you worked hard to loose the weight. You deserve to be in the spot light. It's just for a few hours. Between your closet and Morgans you should be able to find something suitable to wear. It's not a beauty paggent It will be good for ya.

Im going to call my mom and talk to her about it tomorrow. We go to tops together. If i end up going, I'm making her go with me. [emoji23] and she can help me write that speech too. I think what it is is that i want to go but am embarrassed to be in front of a bunch of people. I have to send in a before pic. I've got a good one but really don't want it plastered up on the wall for a couple of hundred people to see.

Good morning!

The heating/wiping/scrubbing didn't do as well as I thought on the wok. I checked reviews, never thought to try boiling water! I want to get it off the outside too, so I've got the HUGE soup pot heating and will put it in the sink and see how that works.

I finished my major chores for the day. A few odd and ends left. Hawaiian chicken in the crock pot. Never made it before. It smells good, hope it tastes that good.

I'm taking a mini break from hutwork. Mr. V is cleaning the coop, with ducks helping of course.

My big excitement today is getting recipes actually written down on cards and in the box. Yep, old fashioned recipe keeping over here, it works for me.

Porks a roasting in the oven. Mash taters and baby limas.
