Well, I got a rotisserie chicken at the store so I didn't have to cook after shopping yesterday. That would have been great, but I also got a small veggie tray and decided to "snack" on that with some hummus, and ended up devouring that instead of the chicken. So tonight was the chicken, torn up and over lettuce and tomatoes. Sooo good! :)

Mr. V is just beside himself, two of the three that are missing are his favorite girls. The third one is my favorite. :( No sign of anything getting in, and no feathers all over, so I'm hoping that they are hunkered down in the woods for the night and we find them safely in the morning.

Bummer. Now I'm worried about the 2 openings There 10 ft. off the ground but about a foot wide at the highest point. Wings are clipped but that's a pain to try and catch them a few times a year. That's the main reason I'm hoping some hatch. I'll vent sex and then pinion the ones I want to keep. Problem solved. The only predators we have are the neighbors cats and an occasional possum.
