Good morning punkin. And yes, it's very quiet. I miss the gabbing.

Nothing exciting around here, we've been watching clover grow. As we can't grow grass at the home hut, we spread white clover seed. It's sprouting, so we might look like we have a lawn. A no mow one!

The morning guy is back!! I might actually get Friday off again!!!

Chilling in front of the AC.Was outside today and feel toasted. They had the nerve to ask if I wanted OT Monday. Stuck to my guns. Don't ask me last or if no one else wants it. All of July and Augest is OT Mondays. They didn't even ask me. I have seniority. Soo don't ask me to take leftovers.

Just when I thought it was a faulty thermometer, the pool temp went up to a whopping 75. Yep, I went in. This thing needs to warm up before fall. ugh.

Yesterday reminded me of the one word I dislike about living on the east coast. HUMIDITY! Oh well, give it a few months and the weather will change...

We don't have rabbits here, we have too many predators. There's a fox family right out back. But helping the honey bees is good!

Humid as all heck here. ugh.

70's here today. It was in the 60's last night with a breeze.
*ducks and runs*

What an exciting hot and muggy morning. Took Mrs Punkin to her VA appointment this morning to be greeted by an abundance of fire and police blocking the parking lot in front of the building where we were going to park. Pulled a U turn and went around the entire complex to enter from the other side to no avail. Blocked there also, duh. So we found a parking spot on the other side of the complex and decided to walk. (Did I mention the humidity?) After making it inside one of the buildings, which had AC btw, clear on the other end of the complex, we asked a simple question to the first official looking person we saw. "What the heck is going on?" Their reply was, "we had a bomb threat at 8:30 this morning (in the building we were going to) and are evacuating, so all appointments are cancelled for that building today." Let's just say it didn't seem as long to get back to the car and leave as it did to get there. The good part was we stopped at a discount store on the way home and bought some munchy crap and then had an early lunch at our favorite spot.
