I read somewhere that if you put a drop or two of water in the coffee beans before you grind them that it will get rid of the static build up problem of fresh ground coffee sticking to everything and making a mess. Well, don't do it! What do you get when you add water to coffee dust? You guessed it. We had our first clogged up coffee bean grinder. Lessons learned. At least I know how to take apart the grinder and clean it.

What a way to start the day, punkin.

I'm dragging today. Last night was a school night... 4 1/2 hours of sleep doesn't cut it! We did an "end of the (fiscal) year" celebration bbq at work, so I grilled about 100 burgers. Thank heaven we're having a cool spell! I did get rained on a bit while grilling though.

Sat and waited for our delivery guy that was "on his way" at 4, until 6:30. He didn't show so we left. UGH

I've been up since 4 AM...my work day is almost half over!

I was up at 4:30 but my clock is set 3 hours ahead of yours. I win! I think I'm going to go take a nap now...

Of course I've been up since 5:00. Left work early for Dr. Appointment. So just waiting on him.

Finally, we have our delivery. And our drivers cell number for next time. I can carry on with my day now.

I talked Mrs Punkin into going to a better place for lunch/supper. It was a Japanese/Chinese restaurant. We started with hot and sour soup followed by a California roll with ginger and wasabi. Main dish for Mrs Punkin was peppered beef (red and green bell peppers and onions) with white rice. My main dish was General Tso chicken with white rice and broccoli. On the way home she said, "Do ya wanna stop for ice cream?"

Now you know why I needed a nap! I think I just made myself hungry again...
