OK, it's settled. I'm taking a few days off from the pressure cooker next week - yay! 
One of my department managers just went out on medical leave, so I'm short-staffed and have to have a 1-day weekend tomorrow and work Sunday. My boss is going out for surgery and will be gone a minimum of 8 weeks, so I am covering for him too. I'm sitting on almost 4 weeks of vacation time and was about to use a bit of it, so...I'm going to do it anyway! Taking the Indian Chick to the LA County Fair on Wednesday, then Thursday I'm throwing a bit of gear and a bunch of books in the truck and heading for the mountains for some alone time. I may or may not come back.

I start my 2 week vacation after work tomorrow.
Andy never got back to me about going on a road trip, so I may or may not take a little one myself. I've been wanting to go up and see Fallingwater | Home for a long time now, I might do that. 
I just spent 20 minutes under my desk with a flashlight looking for a 3 1/2" blunt tip needle that blew off the syringe as I was transferring juice from one bottle to another. This was after wiping about 6ml of juice off my legs when it blew. 
I gave up and got out another needle, and proceeded to finish transferring the juice, when I found the stoopid needle - in the bottle I was adding the juice to!

I hate when that happens. Good Morning! Going to have my eyebrows waxed and tinted..My DIL is an esthetician and got a new job at a new place.I thought I might visit her there then go to 5 Guys for lunch..After that the whole day is wide open..

The camping boxes, tent and sleeping bag are staged in the garage. Got all the essentials, just need to throw in some food, ice, and a fishing rod and vest on Thursday morning. I promised to take the Indian Chick to the LA County Fair on Wednesday. We can browse all the exhibits, stupid carp for sale, and eat everything deep fried and/or on a stick. Did I mention I love the fair?

Busy day at the hut today. For some unknown reason we decided to make the back yard bigger. So we pulled fencing and posts, and got most of the posts in where we want them. Tomorrow morning is the actual fencing, it got too dark to see what we were doing tonight. Then it's time to cut, split and stack firewood.
I'd rather have fried food on a stick and walk around looking at carp.
Stretchy, don't let her take off too much of your eyebrows, sometimes they don't grow back. When I was in middle school my math teacher had drawn on eyebrows. Yep, had them waxed years earlier and still had to draw them on.

I don't have many eyebrow hairs normally. I get the wild ones that aren't suppose to be there.I have them removed and the ones I do have I get tinted.I get all the anomaly's from the German side of my family..Thin hair everywhere. Usually not where it should be.
The tractor does the hard work. I hold the post level and Mr. V smooshes the post into the ground with the tractor bucket. I think I got away with one bruise and very dirty clothes today.

(What Bamrz said). Hello from work! One day weekends suck, but starting Wednesday I get 5 glorious days off.
