Good morning everyone.

As expected, the weekend was crazy busy. We got about three more van loads taken out of the old house, and we got a van load and a truck and trailer load of stuff taken out to my dad's (he's volunteered to play storage unit). Got the grill to the new house, finally. Along with the lawn mower and a few other outdoor type stuff. After a few more days, I have a feeling whatever else is left will fall under the "screw it" category and remain in the house.

My eye doc confirmed that I still have eyes, so thats a plus. My vision has changed a little bit since last year, but still not enough to get a new prescription, so thats good. I dont need new glasses. Which made it possible to get a new order of contacts in. I havent had contacts since around October. I need them back!!!

Kat's week of "light duty" and no sports is finally over. Today, I'll be taking her to the gym to be a pseudo physical therapist for her. I get to start working with her to strengthen her core and back muscles. She still has to take it kinda easy this week, so she cant play volleyball in school. But she should be able to do a full practice with softball. We'll just have to see how it goes, and hope she doenst try too much too fast to re-injure it.

There was entirely too much dinner last night. Bratwursts and french fries. I have the willpower to not buy that kind of stuff. But once Mrs E buys it and leaves it on the counter to thaw out, I dont have the willpower to not eat it after I cook it.

Well, time to get to work. Only two weeks until a five day weekend! It was going to be a family trip to the mountains with my dad and step mom, but we had to cancel after I realized the clutch in my POS Honda Accord was shot. Its kind of a bad thing to press the accelerator down and hear the engine rev up without accelerating. Ungh. $500. What is really bad about it, is I know I can make those kinds of repairs on my own. But I just dont have the time anymore to do those kinds of things myself. Oh well. At least I get to keep the time off of work for three days!!!

I will wear a reserved dress to a wedding, and I will wear a very reserved dress to a funeral. Other than that, I am in jeans and boots. That includes going to church. The old ladies can cluck about it, but I don't think what I am wearing is the point.
Thats one reason why we left our last church. The former pastor was the kind of guy who would hint at the fact that people needed to dress a little nicer for church. When he passed away and his replacement came in, he actually came out and said it while standing at the alter. He made it sound like that if men werent in suits and women werent in dresses, God wouldnt accept you into His house.

He also had a problem with going into political rants. And he railed against homosexuality on more than one occasion. Yeah. We left.

The one we go to now is much nicer and falls more in line with my personal beliefs. Like the belief in He doesnt care what your sexual preference is. And He doesnt care what youre wearing. The pastor of course requests people to dress a little nicer for service. Things like flip-flops are frowned upon. But jeans, sneakers, and polo shirt are accepted with no question. Even the flip-flops arent really questioned. You just get a few looks of incredulity. :) Our current church is very open to many folks that you dont normally see as "acceptable" in the Catholic church. They really dont care who you are or what you wear. The most important thing is the fact that you are there. And its one of the main reasons we like it so much.

And for the record.... I dont own a dress. Not a single one.

Oh, and my bike still isnt out of the shop yet. They are still waiting on the cam chain tensioner to come in. I really hope it arrives soon and I can get my bike before the end of the week. The weather is absolutely gorgeous in the Carolinas right now. Most of the week is going to be lows in the high 40's and highs in the mid-upper 70's. Its gonna get wet sometime Thursday, but should clear back out for a nice (but cooler) weekend for Kat's next tournament.

Morning!

Today is Jake's chiropractor appt., I have my fingers crossed. We'll be bailing early today to take him in. I certainly won't hurt that it's going to be in the 60's today. :D Later in the week it's going back down to the 30's, so we might as well enjoy being out and about this afternoon.

James, I am relieved to hear that you don't have any dresses. Honest. :p

What a long azz Monday! I had to stay late, ended up with 2 hours of OT. Not too bad, but I ended up getting really tired right before I left.

Vape mail!! :) I bought a Sub Tank from the classies, the guy shipped it on the 4th and it just got here today. I put in a query with USPS, and it seems somehow it got delivered to a local hospital. Rather strange, since it's a totally different zip code, and the street it's on is no where close to my street's name. Go figure! :p

I'm remembering why I dislike cloth seats. I always had leather or vinyl.
I'm thinking I need to call these guys.

BUNNER sold out.
My next door neighbor used to do detailing, maybe I'll check with him about prices when it gets a bit drier around here. My Jeep has no floor mats (priced them and they are close to $100), so the carpet is always damp. :(

No dogs are allowed in my car. They have to ride in the truck.
The cats don't do the car unless it's a vet appt, and then only in a carrier because I'm not fishing them out from under the seats. Xena is allowed in the car whenever I can take her, and she sits in my lap. Yeah, I know it's not cool, but she's so little...

Hopefully I can stay awake for a while tonight. I crashed in the computer chair again last night, and managed to miss most of Walking Dead. :(

Weight Watchers went well. Down 20 pounds now. I came home and made a salad with some chick peas on it. I put a small handful of the peas in my mouth, chewed it up, and it went down a little and got stuck. I couldn't talk or catch my breath. It scared the sheet out of Alex. And me too. Once I got it back up I coughed so much that I ended up throwing up. I'm pretty sure a piece of my lungs came up too. Needless to say I lost my appetite.

Good morning all.

At least it isnt Monday.

Traffic was crazy this morning. Normally, I have about a 40-45 minute drive to get in. The last mile on the interstate this morning took almost 10 minutes to traverse. Needless to say I was not on time this morning. Thankfully, again, no one is here that early to ever notice if I'm a few minutes late.

Thats about all Ive got this morning.

Tiff, try not to breathe in food next time. And, look into the procedures for a self Heimlich maneuver. Seriously. Glad youre ok though.

Good morning. I can breathe so it's a good day. And it's nice outside today.

I have a doctor appointment this morning and that's all that's on the agenda for today. I'll probably do some laundry and pick up the house a bit but otherwise it will be a quiet day of nothing.

Hope everyone has a great Tuesday!
