Well drats. Just drats.

Back from torture #2. There will be no lasik. I have cataracts. Holy crows, just freaking bury me already.
My grandma always said, and I quote... "Getting old aint for pu...." well, I cant quote her word for word here... That was one of the few times shes ever used a lewd word in front of me, and it's kinda stuck with me. :D

I love my Nana.

Mornin' folks.

Its gonna be an interesting next 48 hours. The weather folks are now saying we're going to see anywhere from 4-8 inches of snow. Its supposed to start as rain this afternoon, then start coming down as snow this evening and not stop for 12 hours. Of course, its an absolutely gorgeous morning right now. Sunshine and blue skies.

Nothing really new to report going on here. Unless you consider me and Mrs E arguing about my beard a fun topic. Mrs E wants me to shave it off. In all honesty, I WANT to shave it off... But it's still too cold.

My bike is ready to be picked up from the shop... Not that I can actually ride it in this weather. Blech. Ive been itching to get out and ride for months now. Stoopid cold weather...

Mrs E loved the fact I had to stay clean shaven while I was in the Navy. Its been about three weeks since Ive shaved, and it shows. My mustache is drooping to my bottom lip, scraping bits of food off of everything I eat no matter how hard I try to not let it touch the food. Once it warms up, I really think Im going to shave it completely off, then try to keep up with the goatee again.

We're supposed to have some snow sometime today. They're calling it a winter storm, which means we'll get about an inch. [emoji23]
That same winter storm that youre getting is the same one that is supposed to dump anywhere from 5-8 inches on us tonight. Rain is supposed to start around 6, and change to snow. Its going to be nasty tomorrow morning.

Victor is hanging out in the General Store today. He's the official people greeter now. He's doing a good job.
 I really wish you lived closer so I could see that!

Mr. V trimmed his beard and mustache last week I've never seen him without a mustache, I think I'd freak.

Last year he sported a handlebar one, that got some serious stares.

Victor is doing remarkably well out there, but I think he's guarding the dog food/treats display.
When I did No-Shave-November/December/January last year, I couldve done a serious handlebar 'stache. But Mrs E glared at me everytime I started twisting it. This time around I have a few ideas before it is completely removed. All to aggravate Mrs E of course. Ive thought about doing some massive mutton chops. The Hulk Hogan. Or shaving all but my chin. I dunno.... Too many choices.

Dog treats are VERY important to the business. Dont overlook his tenacity. Its a good thing.

I still say don't completely shave.

I'm beat. After work this morning I had to run a couple of errands for Granny and then head over to her house to take her to a doctor appointment. The appointment lasted 3 very long hours. By the time I got her back to her house and settled in it had started to sleet a little bit. I don't think we're going to get much of anything where I live. Maybe a dusting of snow.

Mornin' folks!

The forecast was for 5-7 inches of snow on the SC side of the line, and 7-10 inches in and around Charlotte.... We got less than two. :glare: So, the super awesome snow day that I planned on having with my kids isnt going to happen this time. I dont even know if the kids are going to be able to enjoy it as much as they hoped to. Every time you step down, the snow doesnt compact, it melts into that slushy mess. Roads are mostly just wet with slush piled up between the lanes. Oh well. Maybe next time.

I got about nothing else to report. Other than House is awesome. I love Copper Creek and FV. And of course, all Copper Creek products are Commander Awesome Approved.
