Mornin' all.
Y'all ALMOST make me feel bad that Im gonna see about 75 degrees today. Almost.
The Carolina Weather Coaster in in full swing. Monday was about 70. Yesterday was 40 when I got to work, then got colder. Today will be about 75. Tomorrow, we're back into the 40's. The only downside is the temp changes give us lots of fog in the morning, and probable rain most of the day. Still. 75.
Since the weather was so nice Monday, I decided to head up to the
shop to pick my bike up. They were doing some pretty easy work for me. He said it would take about a week, and he had the bike for about three since the weather wasnt good enough for me to ride it home. And since my trailer doesnt have a chock in it, I wasnt about to trailer it. I show up, (Im too stupid to actually call to make sure it's ready) and he's still got the
tank and seat off of it with a vacuum gauge and emissions rod hooked up to it.

He found a couple more issues. I knew they were issues, but when he showed me the pix of them, it was obvious they needed to get fixed. The throttle was hanging open and it was still running pretty rich. *sigh* So, my bike is still in the
shop. With any luck, I'll be able to get it next week while we have warm temps AND clear skies.
Nothing too new going on. Kat got herself grounded for getting an attitude with Mrs E. It seems that yesterday, she thought it would be a good idea to back talk her mother. Twice. Getting popped in the mouth and losing softball for a week didnt seem to drive the point home hard enough, so she lost softball for two weeks. That would mean one tournament weekend and one practice weekend, gone. When I got home, we had a serious heart to heart about her attitude and behavior. Hopefully, it will be enough for her to keep herself in check. I know hormones are running rampant right now, but thats no excuse to ever disrespect her mother. We'll wait and see if she can do it long enough and well enough for Mrs E to rescind her decision.
In the meantime, I gotta run. Douche Canoe is starting to pile on extra responsibilities and I have no idea how Im going to keep up with it. Right now, Im ok. Barely. But as the rest keeps coming, Im going to have to say "I'll get to it when I get to it".
Y'all have a good day!!!
Hey James, Mr. V said to tell you that he feels good. Last night he watched the Packers/Panthers game again and felt better immediately.
If that travesty of a game is all it takes to make him feel better, I feel really bad for him. The least he could do is watch them whoop up on a GOOD team. It's like watching a pro boxer punching a 1st grader.
