I finally got all the fabric for the neck pillows and the skirt I am making. Now I to put it all together. I bought way too much fabric for the skirt, The instructions called for two different fabric and seven yards total. I think I'll try to make something coordinating to go with the bkack shirt that will go with the skirt. But I can't go any further until the gathering foot I ordered come in.
I finally decided on which glasses I'm going to order. I'll order them next week.
Hubby took Alex out driving today. Ed whispered to me that he sucks,
It's just gonna take some practice for him and won;t happen anytime soonl He is scared . I know of lots of parents with other kids that have Aspergers and they say that it jsut takes longer and are more scared than most people.
I think I've finally (not completely) accepted that he will probably always need help and may even have to stay here a lot longer than most kids do. I'm am very worried about what will happen when hubby and I are gone.

Tiff, neither of my kids have Aspergers and had issues with stuff! 
Ian was HORRIBLE when I tried to teach him to drive. 
It was in my 5-speed and he couldn't get the hang of releasing the clutch smoothly. 
He finally learned in the Army.
And Andy just moved out last summer. I was OK with that. His dad always swore he would put them out when they hit 18, but I don't see the sense in that personally.
I think Alex should do OK. You guys are giving him a good foundation, and he'll have lots of time to practice.

Sonny was awful too. He got stuck on a speed bump in McDonalds drive through. He was freaking, I made him keep trying until he got going. It didn't help that his buddy was working the window and laughing at him. He swore he would NEVER buy a stick shift.

It's a sad morning. After many years of faithful service, my B&D single serve coffee maker has ceased functioning. 
Thankfully, Amazon has them for $19.99 (same price I paid for the old one), and its replacement will be here Tuesday.

Good morning. Going to a baby shower this after. Did I mention I also hate Baby showers.
My condolences to both of you this morning. I'm not sure what's worse, a dead coffee maker or having to go to a baby shower. *shudders*
I started the overnight no-knead bread last night. Poor bread, the hut dropped to 60F overnight. I'm crossing my fingers the 2nd rise saves the day.

It's 47 here right now, but my loooong driveway is still covered in snow. So no bike ride today. That's OK though, I'd really rather wait until there's no more salt on the streets, not really fond of washing the bike in cold weather.
Thank you for the condolences, but I still have my 10 cup Corelle percolator that still kicks ....! I really should replace it, the last one decided to try to start a fire because of the cord. Yes, that was scary! OK, going shopping for a new percolator....
FV, a trick I learned was to let the bread rise in the oven. You preheat it, then let it drop to a good temp and put the dough in. No drafts too!

Bored. We're at the open the presents stage. So hoping it's over soon. But so far there's still a .... load yet. Why are baby's and toddlers here? Grrrrr

We just got home from my in laws for lunch. The food was outstanding! Now everyone is in a food coma. My sewing machine is calling my name but I'm trying to ignore it today. I did some fabric cutting and a little sewing yesterday. I'm waiting on my new gathering foot to come in for a project I'm working on.

I'm all set to embroider a project, but forgot that I needed my embird password. Of course it went away with the old hard drive. arrrrggghhhhhhh! Emailing the company, but now I'm stuck.
I'll just be happy to be finished with the project. I'll post pics when I'm done.
