I don't know anything about quilting but why 120 x 112 and not 120 x 108? That would give you 10 squares by 9 squares for a total of 90 squares.

*Punkin on the run*

That is correct. It's allowing for seam allowances. Plus that is what a website told me to use as a standard size for a king bed. Now that I think about it I think it would make more sense to do it 120x108

I'd google free quilt patterns. That way you can get the exact amounts of fabric, and a pattern to follow.

That's what I've been doing and all I've been able to find is what the standard quilt sizes are or they just tell you to make x amount of squares but don't give you the amount of fabric needed. And it was making my head hurt too.

Good morning!

Sounds like the excitement just wont stop with the Posse today.

Im going to the gym after work, then we're picking my car up from the shop now that the clutch replacement is done. A mere $500+. The car isnt hardly worth that much. BUT.... It still runs, it gets decent gas milage, and the a/c still works. And most importantly, its paid for and insurance is cheap.

My contacts came in yesterday. Today is the first time in about six months Ive had contacts in. I forgot how nice it was to not have to mess with glasses. Of course, because its been so long since Ive dealt with them, I forgot that I need the eye drops... Oops. Hopefully I can hold out until I can stop by the store on the way home.

Gotta run. Too much to do and not enough time to do it. As always.

Y'all have a great day!

Ungh.... I hate doing returns. The Ops Manager came by today. He looked at the stack of returns and his jaw dropped. Im about half way through processing the stack, and already up to 130 items. It will end up being well over 200 items BEFORE I get to the equipment racks that are in the back. Probably between 250-300 BEFORE I start on all of the projects that were cancelled that I was never notified about. 33 of those. Probably another 50-75 items there. "Gee James, why didnt you get your returns finished in one day? Volume doesnt matter!" :glare: If he only knew... Its not difficult work. At all. Its just tedious and time consuming. Hopefully things will go smoothly enough for me to finish them all up by the end of the day Monday.

Mrs E is kinda bummed and kinda mad right now. Kat has succeeded in not taking care of her back. Again. And has created another muscle injury on the OTHER side now. I pulled her out of practice last night when I saw her throws getting wild and her running slow down. I talked to the coach after practice, and he wants to pull her from the line up this weekend. Which is why Mrs E isnt happy. She actually got the whole weekend off to watch Kat play, and now, Kat probably wont play. I'm going to shoot the coach and email and see if I can convince him that she could be ready to play if we can get her to take care of the back with relaxing for two straight days, ice massages, pain killers, and stretches. Next week I'm going to start her on a physical therapy type regiment at the gym. Nothing too strenuous, but enough to strengthen her core and back muscles. I'm taking Kat to the tournament even if she cant play though. She needs to be there to show her support for the team, and show that Mrs E and I are serious about her being a part of that team.

Mrs E just called and cancelled our trip to the gym... She's wanting to go to the middle school softball game. Truth be told, so do I. But if we dont get 8 trips to the gym each month, we lose the reimbursement from my company. I guess we'll make it up later...

Time to head home long enough to change shoes and strip my tool pouch, keys, key cards, and work phone off. Then to the ballfield, I guess.

I hope everyone has a good night!

Good morning!

Mr. V forgot his glasses today. Should be interesting.
Uh oh... Did he fill my order without glasses???? Im scared now.

It's been a busy day here. At least I don't have to cook dinner. Granny sent food home with me today. She actually got up this morning before I got there and made soup, fried cabbage and a big pan of cornbread just for me to take home today. The meeting at Morgan's school went fine. We went by Petsmart on the way home to pick up a new dog food for Shrek. We're putting him on a grain free food. Hopefully this will help with his skin issues. My glasses are moving across California slowly the past three days. Hopefully they'll be here sometime next week. That's about all I got for now.

AAAAaaaaand happy Friday everyone!

Im just sitting here at my desk at work, munching on Honey Nut Cherrios, waiting on my weekly call with Douche Canoe. He just sent me an email saying he was running late this morning. I wonder what he would say/do if I was late as often as he was. :glare:

Not too much happening today. More returns. Another trip to the gym. I get to clean out my work truck since they're taking it away from me Monday.

At least the weather is supposed to clear up in a little while. I cant remember the forecast, but its going to be pretty nice and go into a REALLY nice weekend.

I'll check back in later. Y'all have a good morning!
