I can't believe it. I am home alone! Mrs Punkin went shopping with my sister for "lady stuff". I have no idea how I got out of it but sure am glad I don't have to hang out at the women's department! I guess only guys would understand but sitting in a chair waiting on the mrs. with bras and panties all around you not knowing whether to think, wow, that looks nice or I bet they think I am some kind of a pervert sitting here looking at undies!

If you have no idea how it happened, dont think about it! Just enjoy it!

I was dragged into the girly section with my wife and Kat over the weekend... VERY not comfortable feeling standing there while they discussed different swatches of lacey things.... *shudders*

Happy Birthday Bamrz!!

Work completely kicked my .... today. Luckily they were fairly easy dogs to do. I took Ruger with me to bathe and clip him. He was the noisiest one there today. He wanted to come hang out with me in the grooming room and not be stuck in a kennel drying.

I'm airing the house out right now. When I got home from work and walked in the door a very bad odor hit me. I still don't know what it is. The trash was taken out and no pee or poo on the floors. I opened a window and cut the fans on.

Hubby is on his way home from his fishing/camping trip. He goes back to work tomorrow for two days though. Tomorrow Morgan and I are headed over to granny's house to help her clean out the two living room closets. If there's time I'll do her bedroom closet too. I finished her taxes earlier today so I've got to remember to take them to her.

I'm still adjusting to my new mega short hair cut.

Its that time folks. I hope I can get home, change clothes, change the wiper blades on the truck, and get to the old house before Mrs E has to leave. I really think I can make this last trip. I know I know... Ive been on one last trip to that house several times now, but I really think this is it. I hope so.

I really was about to let it go... Until she made the "anything other than oxygen" comment... especially knowing when less than a quarter of what we breathe is actually oxygen... Unfortunately, she shares the same mindset as many others. They believed the first set of "facts" the media released. It doesnt matter that they were wrong and even disproved.

Things are going haywire at the shack. Phone sent in for repair. Last evening the oven went out it is 20 + years old. Did ya see the price of stoves lately?

Unfortunately yes. The price of new stoves is what convinced us to take our old one out of the old house and put it in storage

Good morning all.

We had a change of plans... So I STILL need to make that "one more" trip to the old house.

The trampoline spring pad cover thinggy came in yesterday, so I spent my first hour at home taking the old shredded one off, then another hour putting the new one on. Its not bad considering it was the cheapest one I could find on Amazon. I wish it had more straps to tie it down though. We'll see how well it lasts.

Nothing else new here. Even the weather is a clone of yesterday. Mid 80's, chance of storms this afternoon. Right now its nearly 70.

Called out sick today, still have a sore throat and super stuffed up head. Supervisor is going to be ticked.

I made a nice pot of chicken soup yesterday, I haven't been hungry but I've been making it disappear. It makes my throat feel better and my head clear up a bit.

I felt like poo, but had to run some errands this morning. Needed milk and bread, filled up the car. I think a couple of naps are in order, Xena seems happy about that - she's standing on the arm of the couch wagging her tail!

Y'all are just filled with good cheer in there today. Broken furnace and being sick. Yuck to them both. Hope you feel better soon Bamrz!

Morgan and I spent the entire day at granny's. I cleaned out her two living room closets and her walk in closet in the bedroom. I'm worn out. I got some nice sofa pillows out of it. Needed some new ones. On the way home we picked up Morgan's friend to spend the night. I have to work tomorrow, oh joy! We've been super busy and I keep getting the pita dogs. If the dog gives the other groomer one iota of trouble then she refuses to groom them again, which means I get to groom them. She just has no patience. I have been known to charge a pita fee though.
