Howdy folks.
I shouldve brought a jacket today.
Three months ago, 50 degrees was warm. After being so long in the mid 70's and higher, 50 is a bit chilly.
Still plenty of rain. Tiff likes to send her bad weather to us. It doenst matter how many times we tell her to keep it. She just doesnt listen.
With a last minute cancellation of Kat's practice, I was able to work a half hour of OT for a conference call. Then I went to the middle school softball game. Clover only has two middle schools. Yesterday was the day where they played against each other. Half of both teams are girls that I have coached in the last couple of years. So, every inning, I would walk between each side of the field to cheer both teams on. My old catcher, a fiery redhead, started "fussing" at me for cheering the other team, too.

I either had to pull for both of them, or for neither one. It was really nice to see so many of my girls make it onto their school's team though. It makes me feel like I did something right while I had them on the fields. That I gave them enough knowledge and honed their skills to the point where they can be competitive at a higher level.
After that game, I went to watch Melanie's game. She got two pretty good hits last night, and one popfly out. She also managed to field two hits to her pretty well. She's definitely getting better and better. She keeps saying that she "wants to play like Ka
thryn." If she keeps going with it, she'll be able to do it. Right now, her team is still undefeated this season, and they are a little more than halfway
through it.
Lets see.... Rain.... Colder temps.... softball.... more rain... more softball.... yep... Thats about all thats going on here.
