Its that time!

Melanie's game has been cancelled due to poor field conditions. I'm hoping Kat's practice gets cancelled to. I would like to get to the gym tonight. I'm in that final push to my first goal of 190 by the 19th. I think I'm going to be a few pounds away from that goal, but I'm going to try like heck to get there anyway. Then, goal #2. 180 by the end of June. I havent been under 190 since 2003, when I got back from my second deployment.

I'll see y'all tomorrow. Hope everyone has a good evening!

James, I took the MSF course here in PA. It's free, and they provide the bike and administer the test at the end. If you pass, they do a rubber stamp thing to your permit, which you then have to keep until your regular license is up for renewal. :( I had to wait like 2 years to get the "M" endorsement on a regular license.

So we don't have to go anywhere near the DMV after getting the permit, the MSF people submit paperwork if you pass.

Edit to add: The course was 2 weekends, Saturday and Sunday, 2 days inside with written test, 2 days outside with skills test on bike. And I think Sat was inside, Sun was outside.

Things have changed a bit. The rubber stamps only good for 190 days now. In that time frame a new license is sent out to cdl license holders. Or a yellow paper card is sent out for non cdl license holders.

The DMV should really think about maybe charging a fee to get a new license with the "M" on it right after the test. I would certainly have paid extra for it, I was so proud of my "M"!! (Still am!) :p

If you take the riding test at one of our sites you can go in after the test and buy a dup licenses with your m on. After the courses once you get the paper card through the mail you can go in and buy a dup with it on. Takes a few weeks for the results from the courses to be sent in and posted in the system. We use Ipads that post the results instantly. Were working on a similar system for third party CDL testers. Soo maybe in the future they'll do the same for the MSF course.

Mornin' folks!

Kat's practice did get cancelled yesterday. I got home to change clothes and all of us were going to go to the gym.... Nope... Mrs E was knocked out, Melanie and CJ were knocked out... So I took Kat with me. She was less than thrilled. :D

Weather is warmer today. We actually had to turn the heat on in the house two days ago. Even though today will be warmer, the threat of rain still wont let us open the windows back up. I'm hoping tomorrow will be nicer. Our lawn looks like a mini rainforest. When you start losing your 60 pound dog in the tall grass and weeds, there might be a problem.

If we can work the timing out, I plan on taking the bike up to the DMV after hours to do more low speed practicing. I just have to get it done between 2pm when everyone should be gone from their parking lot, and 4pm so Mrs E can go to work.

I have to ask Douche Canoe about my OT. He didnt technically approve it before hand, so I may end up having to leave two hours early today. I'm very ok with either choice. :D

Yep. Thats about all Ive got this morning! I hope everyone has a good day!

ITS FRIDAY!!!!

I really wish SC would do the same. SC uses the ALT-MOST test. Supposedly, its more difficult than the standard skills test, and it seems like they use it to get more people to do the MSF course. But since 2013, they stopped accepting waivers for the skills test. I dont understand the mindset behind that. If they want more riders to take the course, why would you stop accepting the waiver, which was probably a huge reason to take the MSF course? Oh well. Complaining about it wont get my "M". I'm hoping to be able to get the time to take the test before the end of May. If I dont pass it, I'll have enough time to sign up for the course and save up enough to pay the $325 for it. If I DO pass it, I'll sign up for the cheaper one.

Well zzzz time. today was yet another rerun of Tuesday and wednesday. Starting to feel like the groundhog movie.:lol:
Can't like that. I hope it gets better soon.

Good morning everyone!
Where is BFB? :)

*Punkin on the run*
I told you yesterday! Allergies to early morning air. I've found that those particular allergens clear out around 5am.

Hubby started mowing already. The 10 year old Troy built started on the first pull. Hubby's been saving for a new mower. But after the Troy started on first pull he almost changed his mind. But after mowing the top half of the yard. He remembered how heavy it is. So he went and got the new self propelled mower. Cub cadet.

Drott's dog shack on the move.
