We went to the VA this morning. I am so use to taking Mrs Punkin I almost forgot it was my turn. Of course I forgot to drink plenty of water before we left because I am one of those hard to find the vein for a blood draw kinda guys. After 3 attempts they did a butterfly on the top of the hand! OUCH! Then they gave me a cup. 
There is more than one reason to drink water before you go to the lab at the VA. 
Never fear it all worked out in good time. 
With all that behind me we go to the cafeteria and Mrs Punkin says, "what the heck took you so long?" I gave her my evil eye and we got breakfast. I figured the worse was over and started to relax waiting for my doctors appointment. I get there early and everyone is in a good mood. The nurse comes out and said someone cancelled so come on back. After a brief chat about her grand babies she said, "roll up your sleeve." I got stuck again! And this was all before I even said Hi to the Doctor. The doctor's visit was short. She looked at my lab results. Wrote me a new prescription. Asked me, Do you do this, No. Do you do that, No. Have you ever done this, Of course not,ok maybe a little. Ok, see ya in 6 months.
