Cuban Black Bean Soup for lunch! Kat has a friend in church whose parents are from Cuba. I asked her if she made black beans and what she put in them. Turns out, my recipe was pretty darned close. I can honestly say that they are almost authentic!

Mrs E will be less than pleased by the time we're ready to go to sleep.

I guess I've rambled on enough around here today. Time to start packing up and headed home. Melanie's practice has already been cancelled because of the weather. I still think I'm going to drag my .... to the gym. I missed my first goal by 4 pounds. Now it's on to the second goal. An additional 10 pounds (14 from my current weight) by the end of June. And thats going to be really really difficult. I havent been that small since 1998/1999....

Anywho... I hope yall have a great evening!

You can do it James.

My weigh in went fabulous! Down 5.8 pounds for the week for a total loss of 38 pounds. I retired a pair of my fav jeans the other day. They were baggy enough to pull down with out unbuckling them. How I'm losing that amount of weight in one week is beyond me but I'm not complaining.

Yaaay! Tornado watch is in effect!!!

Blech. Winds are kicking up, and there's a bunch of red on the radar headed this way. I just hope it waits until I get home. I HATE driving in that mess.

We have a tornado watch here too, until about 10 pm.

Good morning on a not Monday day!

We finally get to see some sunshine today!!!! Temps are back to Spring-like numbers, too! High in the low 70's! Now we're just hoping that the tournament doesnt get rained out this weekend. We've already got the hotel room reserved for two nights and got friends and family to watch Melanie and CJ while we're gone.

Not too much else going on. Except Melanie has a game tonight and tomorrow, and practice Thursday. Kat has practice Thursday and the coach is going to try to get an indoor facility so they can practice tomorrow.

You can do it James.

I know I can get the weight gone, I'm just hoping I can do it by my goal! The closer I'm getting to my goals, the harder it is for it to come off.

Way to go Tiff! I've lost about 55 in the last two years, but its been a roller coaster. I'm only down about 15 or so since the start of the year!

I cant afford to buy new pants though. I just keep putting holes in my belt and spreading around the scrunched up material in my waistband!

I'll shoot one to you shortly!

Some here but its for the kids. Soo a good cause.
And we greatly appreciate it. Not only will it help us pay for a part of Kathryn's dues, it also pays for equipment and the insurance costs for the whole team.

.

I have an assortment of sizes in my closet so I just pulled out the next size down. My weight is up and down but hoping that this time I'll be able to keep it down. I need to clean out my closet and put all my clothes that fit in one spot and pack up the ones that don't right now. My goal is to be back to where I was two summers ago. I'd sooner die that say what size that is though.

Another quiet day in here.

I promise I showered! Twice!

Morning. Snow, hail, time to make the donuts.

*grumbles off to cauldron*
Not liking that... Y'all are supposed to be done with that mess.

I dont have different sizes. Ive been big for so long, even my old stuff is the same size.

In the long run, I started at 250, got down to 195, back up to 220, down to 190, back to 210, and now Im back to 195 (give or take). 15 more pounds in ten weeks to 180, which is my goal.
