hubby drinks apple cider vinegar a few days before his trips to the woods and haven't had MUCH of a problem with ticks. He swears by it.
I'm willing to try it. I didn't have any in my dreads, I washed them with Victor's Earth Animal Organic tick shampoo. My hair actually looks decent using it. I may shower with it in the morning. 
Good morning! Just got back from the dentist office. I'm sure glad that is over for another 6 months. Mrs Punkin and I both went for a cleaning and checkup. $220.00 later they said, "Everything looks great. See ya in six months." I was hoping since we did such a good job taking care of our teeth we would be rewarded but instead got handed the bill. Mrs Punkin got a new tooth brush and floss and I got a new tooth brush, floss, and a big friggen cigar! Did I mention before that I shoot trap with my dentist.

Just having a little break. Still working on getting the dirt off the truck. Did I mention its wet. Rained the evening and part of the morning we got the scoop. Poor old truck. Well better get at it. Rains on its way this afternoon.
I got lucky and beat the rain home from work. Every now and then a few drops got the car, but then I moved ahead again. I was actually going to take the bike this morning but fortunately I was running late. You know it would have poured all the way home if I had!

Is it relatively warm there Bamrz? We're back down to the 40's. A few brave souls are out on their bikes, but brrrrrr!
Rain and wind both stopped. Now it's hot and muggy. Seams like I've been up for ever. Time to try and get some Zzzzzs.

Busy day today because tomorrow I won't be in. I have to be in the big city at 8:30am for my one year check up from the eye surgeries. Darn, it's a two hour drive, rush hour, and I'll have to wake up the birds to get out of the hut on time. blech. But I'm having problems seeing out of my left eye, so I'd better show up. blech again.
Cool and windy this morning, rain coming this afternoon. Good thing Mr. V fixed the bad shingles on the work hut roof!

Did you have Lasik or Cataract surgery? Just wondering...
Cataract surgery on both eyes. I got the nifty UV replacement lenses implanted. A few weeks ago my left eye got blurry, so in I go to have it looked at. It's been exactly one year. Up until the blurry thing, I've been thrilled with them. Sonny says that my "burning eye of death" hurts him a lot more since I had them done. 
About 20% have a secondary film form over the original capsule and can be treated with a 5 minute procedure using a Yag Laser to open a small hole that only needs to be done one time and you are good to go.
