It is a one time and done procedure and you are good to go with anything you want to do afterwards. Are you going skinny dipping?

Here's hoping they don't have to redo it.

The procedure was a whopping 5 minutes per eye. And they give you a happy shot before it, so you don't care. The icky part was the 10 days of eye drops first. Those burned and were a pain to schedule 4x/day.

This morning we merged the two duck groups together in the big coop/run. Time to go see how they survived being together today. I'm seriously considering putting the chickens in there too, there's room.

Everyone is fine, but the drake is being a .... head to the two crippled gals. He may meet the axe if he doesn't shape up.

My chicks and ducks are in the same pen with no problems. Mr. Drakes a pig every time the duck that's setting comes out for food and water he has to screw her.

Had the Vet out today for Abbie. She's been droopy and not eating. He couldn't see anything wrong, but gave he a steroid shot that suppose to make her hungry and antibiotics. Abbie lost 6 pounds. If this doesn't work we'll reevaluate.

We had a thunderstorm run through a while ago. It was nice.

Hubby is home for the next week.

Gimpy ducks can't do the ramp to get in the coop, so we need to re-evaluate the situation. ugh. I just want it down to one coop.

Poor Abbie, I hope the shot helps. Keep us posted please!

The Dog house I got only has a 4-5 inch step. How wide is the ramp? Maybe they need a wider ramp. Or If not to high you could try steps. Or the Freezer camp option.

Good morning another dreary day. Seams like since I got a start date to go back to work it's been rainy and dreary. Preventing me from getting outside things done. Just like when I was working. Days off 80% of the time was dreary rainy.

What time was her eye doctor appointment? Fingers crossed it was nothing more than a Yag laser zap. When Alice drives her home she will already be seeing a lot better!

I think the appointment was earlier this morning. Hopefully that was all it was and she'll be seeing better now.

Everyone is asleep except for me. It's quiet. All my house work is done except for some laundry that is going right now. Fixed dinner early so it's done for Alex later tonight. Hubby and I have to go somewhere so I won't be home to cook at the normal dinner time.

And I'm back. Both eyes need the laser, the left is just worse than the right. I'm getting it done on the 19th I think, I have to check the appointment card. I wish he could have done it today, but he was booked solid. ugh. He did say that when it's done I'll be good for the next 50 years.

The ramp is 3' long with a foot incline. The can't do it. Mr. V will look at it when it stops raining to see if he can modify it somehow. I think it's freezer camp time, they are heavy gals to be hopping on one leg but it's up to Mr. V. He's the freezer camp director.
