Howdy all!

Yesterday was officially Day 1 in the new warehouse. And it was a MONSTER of a day. Today wasnt too bad, but still really busy. It doesnt help that I have a manager from Raleigh that keeps bugging me about stuff that is well outside of his responsibility. Oh well. At least my manager is pretty chill. He's told me that if it has to do with the warehouse, it's mine. But he's willing to help out with anything if I need him to. I left early today because I have a mess of emails to get sent out, but with no internet at work yet, all I have is a phone, and I wasnt about to tackle that on a phone.

So, Im home, and it's off to work!

Hope everyone is doing well.

Drott, I'm jealous. I've been itching for a new toy for a while.

Glad things seem to be going good, James.

Can't they get someone else to swap out with you, Bamrz?

Granny came home last night. Went to the heart doctor today about the congestive heart failure. Put her in hospital then decided cardio couldn't do anything so turned her over to kidney doctor. What a mess. My mom is run ragged. Mama said granny seems fine and just wants to go home. Obviously she's not fine though.

It's been a loooooong day and tomorrow and Thursday promise to be the same. Today Morgan did school this morning and then I took her to a new doctor this afternoon. She spent TWO hours with us!!! It was only a one hour appointment. She goes back Thursday.

Morgan dropped a bowl of steaming hot ramen noodles on her foot saturday. It blistered up really bad and we tended to it and kept it clean, put anitbiotic ointment on it, etc just like we were supposed to. She showed it to me this morning and it looked a little irritated but it's raw skin. Tonight she showed it to me and it looks AWFUL!!! The bigger burn has a big red ring around it. The smaller burn has a red line coming off of it. No fever. Took pics, sent to hubby and to hubbys sister who works as a PA for a dermatologist. She sent the pics to the doctor and she said I need to take her to the doctor tomorrow for sure. It needs to be cultured and probably need oral antibiotics. Morgan has a history of MRSA so it's super important that we don't let an infection get out of hand. It can land her in the hospital. Ugh. One thing after another this week.

Thursday the kids have 4 appointments between them. Hubby will be home so we'll tag team it.

Luckily, I feel pretty good.

How is everyone else?

Yeeks Tiff, not the best of days over there.

Still jealous of Drott's new toy. We found a new (cheaper) spot for the camper and it just so happens to be walking distance from the gun shop. Guess I'll get some exercise after all. :D

Tomorrow morning we are candling ducky eggs again, I know at least one chicken has been sneaking in to lay where the broodies are. No stinky eggs allowed, so in we go. Poor cry baby duck is going to pitch a fit. I'm excited about them hatching!

Good evening! Another day on the road. Took Morgan to a dermatologist about the burn on her foot. She said it look pretty bad as burns go. She did a culture and called in a cream to put on it, Silvadene, or something like that. If she starts running a fever or it I looks worse I have to take her back.

I had to then drop Alex off at his class. He was pizzy all morning because he had to go to Morgan's appt with us because I wouldn't be back in time. He was pitching a fit in the car about God knows what by the time we got there so I told him we were going in. He wouldn't go so I rolled down the windows and left his azz out there. While I was in there he was still mad so he emptied my almost full $3 drink out on the pavement and crushed the can substantially. I did get a somewhat weak apology.

I went to Target to pick up a $5 prescription that they ended up not having but had some time to kill before picking up Alex. Thought it would be a good time to get fathers day cards. Then thought I shold look for hubby an anniversary present. Found it on sale there. Good sale, can't turn it down, right? Then since I never buy anything for myself unless you count the three clearance $1 tshirts I got at walmart last week, I found an adorable purse on sale. Then I was browsing and happen to find the matching wallet. When all was said and done my $5 med trip ended up costing me over $300 and I still didn't get the med. I put it on my charge card he never sees. He'll never be the wiser.

I just want to say how happy I am that this thread does not cause drama or conflict. I'm on another forum about a specific health issue and it's seems to rampant there. Geesh, why don't people grow up and stop acting like high schoolers.
I agree Tiff! I frequent a few other threads here on ECF, and at least one was getting a bit heated yesterday over the Orlando night club shooting. Back and forth between banning guns and 2nd Amendment rights. Here I think we are luckily all of the same mindset on that topic. :)

TGIT!!! I sure can use a day of rest tomorrow! They asked me to stay for 2 hours today because we were short on the window - surprised I'm still awake!

Agreeing over here! This will always be a drama free zone. I'll shut it down before I let it get all stupid in here.

Punkin, I sure hope things improve for you over there.

Bad storms near the campground yesterday, trees down in roads, on campers, quite the mess. We're hoping everyone was okay.

Today is a nice breezy 74. No sun, just nice. It can stay this way for awhile. :)

Vent ON:
I'll try to make it quick.
Monday = grrr day. Enough said.
Tuesday = Took Mrs Punkin to the VA for her first Neurology appointment after 6 months trying to get in. They decided to send the DMV a form notifying them she had a seizure 6 months ago. Asked why and they told us it is required so they can suspend her license for six months to see if she has another seizure. Duh, it has been six months already since the last one.
Wednesday = Mrs Punkin broke her 2 tooth bridge. She didn't swallow it and the dentist is my clay target shooting friend so we got an appointment for Thursday.
Thursday = It is looking much better to end the week! Went to her dentist appointment today and it was a clean break of the crown and he simply had to clean and re-cement the crown/bridge assembly back on for $75.00 instead of who knows for a new bridge!
I am celebrating early and not waiting for TGIF. Single malt scotch is flowing in my veins as we type... :)
Vent OFF:
Woo Hoo it is almost TGIF!

I hope your week improves Punkin.

Yeah, I'd keep the price thing to myself, James. But it's your money that you've been saving for something specific for YOU.

I bought hubby a Go Pro Plus LCD yesterday for our anniversary. Then I bought a 50 piece accessory kit on Amazon to go with it. He's going to be shocked. He's wanted one for a while so I splurged and got it while it was on sale. I can't wait to give it to him next week!

Made it through the day with four different appointments between all of us. Now I'm home, in my pj's, relaxing. Tomorrow I work and it's grocery day. I don't have to work Saturday. I took the day off to go to Morgan's end of the season horse show. I might wait until Saturday to get groceries. Depends how I feel when I finish at work tomorrow.
