I survived Monday!

Grrrr store was uneventful and that's a good thing.
Eye appointment was as expected. The good news was they didn't find anything they didn't feel could be corrected. The bad is they are going to call me later this week to schedule cataract surgery. The surgeon said he is already booked through July so I'll have to wait until August. He told me since I had Lasik in the past that there is a little more guess work on lens replacement selection so I will more than likely require glasses to correct any residual astigmatism and power error. I'm OK with that. I just want to be able to see again... :thumb:

Good news Punkin!

Good morning everyone. Catch of the night was a ..... Mr. V went out at midnight and it was already in the trap, so the girls got a good nights sleep. Maybe they'll start laying again soon.

Stay awake James, Mr. V fell asleep waiting on me at the Dr. and the receptionist said he was snoring.

Good morning all.

I would go into what all transpired yesterday and what should transpire today, but I think there's a 3 million word limit or something for a post. Suffice it to say, it's going to be crazy around here. The most fun I had yesterday was when our recycling dumpster delivered....Yeah... It was a trash can. The kind you roll out to the street. Yeah. NOT a dumpster. That took over an hour to get straightened out, and the right dumpster wont be here until Friday at the earliest. Ungh. The rest of my day went in a similar fashion.

Today, Kat has a friend/teammate spending the night with us. That means that I get to take them both to and from practice this evening.

We leave for the beach as soon as I get home Friday. Which, normally, I would be excited to do. The only problem is, the weather guessers are calling for rain down there ALL weekend.

Drott, sorry. I havent tried to do anything on Walmart's website in months.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Anyone been on Walmart website? Been trying for a few days. Click nothing happens. Tried it on different computers with different browsers.
They must have fixed it. I just pulled up their web page.

Hey Punkin,
Noticed you're getting your eyes done. Just to let you know it's a walk in the park. I had both my eyes done. The worst part is the stupid sunglasses they give you. Believe me when I tell you they aren't from the designer line..

I had mine done Stretchy, and yes the glasses are awful. The second one I remembered to bring my own shades.

8/8 is the date that we are required to do age verification. So far we are looking at a software package that will verify you at checkout. So no need to panic, so far we've got this handled. Now we see what they throw at us next. UGH.

How are the babies doing?

Oh and by the way..My eyes went from hazel green to teal blue. Been to 2 eye docs and my internal medicine doc and no one knows why....
That is very strange. Do you like the new color, or is it just freaking you out? Mine are still hazel brown. I think. You know I have to go look now.

Thank God. I am so unprepared for this...I was going to rob a bank..No.. seriously, what choice do I have?
I didn't know you had cataract surgery. You are really young for that.
Babies are fine. Going to visit all next week. I get to watch the tiny baby cause her Mom is going back to work.I get to see the other little one a little more than the tiny one cause they live a little closer. Guess what else..I'm getting a parrot. Yeah 10 dogs and 2 cats are not nearly enough so I'm going for a bird..He's a baby right now. They are hand feeding him. I get him the week after next. He's a small parrot. He's a Quaker. They call them that because when they are young they shiver...Weird right? Anyway they don't live 75 years like the big ones...

It freaked me out. That's why I did 3 Drs. The one Dr. was the surgeon that did my eyes. She checked and rechecked the health of my eyes on a scientific apparatus that looked serious and she couldn't find a thing wrong other than the color. So? I have no clue...I'm getting used to it. Mr. Crabbypants got a chuckle out of it though. Did I see you have critter problems at the white farm house there in WI? Did you move?

Loving watching the bird! I had a Moluccan Cockatoo, the ex hated him and I had to choose. I chose wrong and sold the bird.

Yes, there was a critter problem. So far we caught a possum and a ..... They were killing my ducks. Spud is still fine, but she is a tad cranky.

And no, we haven't moved. Yet. We're still working on the hut so we can list it, but it's at a snail pace since the accident. Hopefully we'll be feeling better soon and can get it done. My kitchen is gone, just new cupboards in boxes right now. We tore it out right before the drunk hit us.
