Got home and the power has been out the past hour Alex said. It's getting rather toasty in here.

Strange question.....has any of your dogs ever somehow known if your sick or have a wound somewhere? I could swear Apollo knows something is wrong with my ear. He keeps trying to sniff it and lick only that ear.
My female Newfie always wanted to lick my Dad's knees after his surgery.I guess that's how they take care of themselves if they have an injury so maybe.

OK, Amazon is nuts. Early this morning I ordered a few things, and same day delivery was available, and free. Sure! Why the heck not? So they sent some in one box and some in another, with 2 different drivers delivering the packages!
Yeah they're going to have to iron the kinks out of that or go bankrupt.

Hello!
I planned just to use the one coil doohickie. I'm not a 2 coil girl yet.Too much math involved.
I did not blow up. I have no idea what the coils are that they sent with it, I put 2 prebuilt 1.1ohm coils on it, bringing me to .65ohm. This thing sucks juice and is a very wet vape so far. I'll continue to mess with it. There is a white plastic part Stretchy to cover half of the deck/holes so that you can run with one coil and wick. I think that may be your best bet with your premade coils if you wish to stay at the same ohms and wattage that you use now.

We've been over at the camper since yesterday. We have new neighbors in a motor home that have 2 boxer girls. Super nice people and very sweet dogs. :) We're going back over for a bit this evening.

After noon. Busy doing odd and ends this morning. Hubby's having a string of bad luck. He bought a used bike on Thursday and Saturday it stuck in gear. So he and a friend loaded it on a trailer. Well they didn't tie it down properly and it fell over on the way home. So he now has a bike that's stuck in gear and scratched up. I helped him load it on the truck this morning and tied it down for him. Taking it back to the dealer tomorrow hope they make it right. I know it was as is but he put less than 100 miles on it. How they treat him will make or break if they get my scooter which needs a full service.
Here's hoping they don't give him a hassle.

Good morning all.

Saturday was a good day. My 13 year old little girl got to pitch for an entire inning Saturday against 18 year old players. I was nervous to say the least. But that girl KILLED it! She even struck two of them out! I even got a super awesome picture of her on the mound, but you're going to have to look at my FB to see it. I really dont have the time to post it here.

Yes, its before 6:30 and I'm already at work. Things are about to get crazy in a bit. We found out Friday that we are getting three techs from Raleigh and another six from Atlanta to help us with a "surge". Our normal day is between 20-25 installs. Today we have 47 scheduled. I came in after Kat's tournament Saturday to get the jobs set up, but I have a feeling there will be a bunch of changes. Mainly because I found out that they are running so hard that they're even giving our Training Coordinator an install. The next step would be to send me or my warehouse associate out in the field... I really dont think they'll ever get THAT desperate though!

Time for me to get running. Hope everyone has a great day!

Good Morning Posse,
I'm glad you had such a nice weekend with Kat.My Daughter-n-Law was a Pitcher/Catcher in HS..Full ride to UK...She's now a Vet...So it's worth the time,and investment.
So what is up with this web site? It's different and confusing. For example I think I'm posting one pic and I post varying degrees of size of the same pic? I have no idea why I have a pic that I used at first for my Avatar in this post.Where did she come from? It's magical....
OMG OMG...I take this little bird out of his cage 2 or 3 times a day and put him in a little play park perch where I talk to him constantly. He can say 3 things very clearly and gives kisses if I ask for one. Yesterday I whispered to him right in is ear.I said "Tell me a secret" and although he couldn't repeat the phrase He whispered bird gibberish back to me...He actually whispered..He's the best bird ever...
How come no one asked me about shoes? I did tell you all I was going shoe shopping...So since you asked..I didn't get a pair of shoes I decided to buy underwear and a pair of Boyfriend Jeans. They have a hole in the knee.I paid extra for that.

Yuck to the dentist. I'd rather go to the gyno than the dentist I hate going so bad.

Hubby and Morgan are on their way home from their camping trip. Morgan caught her first fish. She was so excited to tell me about it on the phone a few minutes ago.

I didn't have to work today since there were no grooming dogs scheduled. I'm glad in a way and not in another. Need the money but want the day off. Unfortunately she won't pay me if I'm not there. I can't figure that one out.

They always do this! And send one small thing in a box that a fridge could come in. When I ordered 6 of the same blinds, they sent 4 in the original small boxes and 2 in separate monster sized boxes.

Just received my new coffee maker and a burr grinder. Wasn't expecting too much from the 8'oclock brand of coffee beans, bought at the local grocery store, but the first pot turned out just OK. Nice aroma and strong enough but the taste was off, a little bitter at the end.

FV, my grinder has settings from 1-40. The book states 30 for french press, 20 for drip, and 10 for espresso. What would you suggest for the grind setting for this type of coffee maker?

Oh, Amazon pulled a good one for me also. I don't have Prime so I elected the free 8-10 day shipping. They waited like a week to send it then told me it would arrive on Sunday. I didn't need special service like that, I could wait until Monday. So I look at the tracking on Sunday and it states ON TIME. At 1:45 pm it stated "arrived in NJ". Good luck with that! It didn't arrive by 8:00pm as they planned. This morning I look and it stated, "We are sorry your package is late." Left NJ at 2:30am this morning and arrived in Virginia. What? They must be using a new GPS system. :) Some how it arrived at my local PO and made it to my front door before 10:00am. Not bad for free shipping...

I'm in between the drip and espresso settings. If you're getting a bitter taste, try a coarser grind, and you can put a percolator filter in the bottom. That filters out some of the oils, which at the end of the brewing can get a bit strong. The finer the grind, the more of the oils will show up in the pot. Trial and error, which means lots of caffeine while you are finding your favorite settings. :)

Thankfully it didn't get stuck in the black hole of NJ, where packages go to die.

We'll try a few things. I have plenty of time. Should be fun. I looked up the coffee to water ratio and first thought, "how am I going to get ALL that coffee in that small filter?" It fit with a little tamping. :)

One unrelated comment: Early tomorrow morning I get my first cataract done. 2 weeks later the other one if the first one is OK. I'll be glad when it's over. I know it is a piece of cake but I have spent way too much time thinking about it. I just want it over...

Wow, that IS a string of baddies. Hope they treat you fairly.

........... Tomorrow back to real life.

    RL is highly overrated. :)

I'm trying to remember what I heard about that device when running only ONE coil. There was something specific you had to do.. Hmmmm....... Maybe take special care where the ONE coil is, maybe airflow ?? Not sure, old age setting in.

I got you beat Bamz. First off, LOVE LUV LOVE Amazon, and live on Prime. Movies, music, shipping, sign me up. Could probably fill a Prime Dumptruck at this point. My BESTEST best example would be when I ordered some cat litter (yes the MAGIC litter can ONLY be found on Amazon), and some air filters for my HVAC. One, 40 lbs. the other 0.5 lbs. What did the highly trained packing specialists at Amazon do ??

    You know...

Everything in ONE box, and only ONE survived.

I try to time my Amazon deliveries for days hubby is working. If he sees a bunch come in at once when it was only one order he is a tad irritated. So to keep us both happy, he's at work and doesn't know and I'm here to get my goodies. Although Morgan is old enough now to rat me out. Not on purpose though. She's just really nosy and will ask in front of him what I got in the package yesterday.

Experienced cataract survivor here...No one hates surgery more than me and nobody hates anyone messing around my eyes more than me...It doesn't hurt at all you're not completely out which means you can sing show tunes while under the knife...Knowing that you sung show tunes during the procedure is the worst part.If you can get over THAT embarrassment it's a win win...Wait till you can see what you've been missing the same day...It's a miricle I tell ya..a miracle.
