It survived! What a relief, it was my radius. Now I'm leaving that in the house and taking an old istick out to work in the yard.

What a day. We had a family member call that they were coming over for a visit. With 1 1/2 hour notice, we got the house cleaned, showered and ready for company. Of course he would be here for lunch and I had nothing. So while he visited with us, I made fresh pasta and started a nice organic veggie sauce. Feeling all smart, as last time I saw him he was not doing dairy or meat. I am not impressed that he waited until the angel hair hit the water to tell me that he doesn't eat wheat or sugar. WHAT????? He watched me make it and didn't say boo. I'm not happy. And he left before I served lunch. Families are weird.

Fence posts are all in, gate is up, but the wire isn't run yet due to Mr. Picky stopping over.

Glad the Radius survived! And as far as Mr. Picky...wow. Some people really skipped the Class table and lined up twice for GUTS, instead. My mom would have slapped the expressions off of our faces if we ever failed to be properly grateful for a meal cooked for us by anyone, ever.

So unless he would go into prophylactic shock from the Pasta I would say that was very rude.He probably stopped at the Gas Station for meatloaf on his way out..and seriously does any one not eat sugar? It is inescapable and way too delicious.In fact it's at the top of my food pyramid.

Yep on the manners, or lack thereof. We learned as kids to eat was was provided, and to be gracious about it. I told him there was no sugar in the meal, except for a bit in the bread I had in the oven. Of course it was made with the dreaded wheat so that was out too. Had I known about the new food snobbery (thank you for the term Stretchy!) I would have made risotto instead. But maybe he can't eat that either. UGH to people these days.

What color carpeting?

Mr. V wants to go to the fair with Rick and the Indian Chick. He wants everything fried and on a stick.

Lazy day here, Beef veg soup in the slow cooker.Been thinking of adopting a replacement for beagle girl. I still miss her a lot. Thought after 5 month I'd be used to her being gone but nooo.

Yesterday I made a batch of "something" in the Instant Pot - Italian sausage, tomato sauce and mixed veggies with pasta, still have enough left for today.

Drott, I hear that. Some of our furbabies leave a spot that doesn't go away.

Mainly black touch of cream with a hint of brown.It's commercial carpeting like they have at Drs. offices.Color the same as shedding dog fur..Magnifique.

Do we ever really get over them? I remember when I was no more than 4 or 5 when my Dad had to come in and tell me my dog was hit by a car.She was a black and tan mutt someone dropped off at the police station and he brought her home. I named her FuFu Jean..Great name right? I'm sure there is a little Beagle somewhere waiting for you to come and get her. So do it...
