So, chemical jargon aside, the idea of using CG in eliquid is that it's a low(er than VG) viscosity alternative to pg?
If so, I think I wants me some.

Let's not give 'em any ideas!Yeah...e. Coli and GMO, those 2 words could scare a lot of people away from ejuice with this stuff in it.

...so does distilled water...and I know that's OK...So, chemical jargon aside, the idea of using CG in eliquid is that it's a low(er than VG) viscosity alternative to pg?

Oh yes it is...many juice mfrs use it instead of PG to thin their juices...epipemods comes to mind in their pipe sauce line. Except for the small amounts of PG in some of the flavorings, my juices contain virtually no PG. ED: I should say many of my juices contain very little PG...there's some store bought squeezins' I like that have whatever the vendor puts in 'em...but in my own concotions I trend as far away from PG as I can...But distilled water isn't an alternative to PG.![]()
...I'm vaping an 85/15 right now (VG/PG)...oh wait you tried vaping 93 percent water? Why? I wouldn't recommend that either. ED: Err...I meant VG/DW...For those of you who may be daring, consider DW as your base. I've tried DW/VG at ~93/7. I don't recommend it as a satisfying vape.

PG IMO is more a carrier/solvent for flavors and a thinner to make juices wick better...there are certainly some devices that work better with more PG, but as I drip more than I use tanks, the higher VG juices work better for me. TH is subjective...whatever floats your boat...all of this of course is a personal preference, but I note many with PG sensitivity issues do the same. I'll add that it is more difficult to flavor higher VG ratio juices than lower viscosity PG...I've heard and used DW to dilute juice but I've never heard it called a PG alternative. PG is to enhance flavor and add TH and DW does neither but If I'm mistaken I bow to your wisdom.![]()
Nah...2.5 ml of water spread out over a week as a vapor from a 15 ml batch? I get more water vapor than that each night from my CPAP machine...You might get pneumonia vaping that much water.I need my nic thank you.

Oh yes...nic of course. Actually, let me restate what I said. It was about 75% DW and 25% VG. The VG had 100mg/ml of Nic in it. The mix was about 25mg/ml of nic. The DW experience was not a lot of fun. New suitable bases need to be found, but DW won't be among them.

I see I apparently wasn't clear... I never meant DW as a base...just as a thinner (dilution)...my apologies. I'm apparently off in my own little world this evening.I've heard and used DW to dilute juice but I've never heard it called a PG alternative. Thinning VG with DW (vice PG) as an alternative....
You're a braver man than me Gunga Din...Oh...I understood...no problem. I was just pointing out that I did indeed try max DW (for my intended nic level) as an experiment...which turned out to run for only a few minutes.
