BTW, please use the letters VG/PG when talking about juice ratios... some people mean VG/PG, others PG/VG... it gets confusing (obviously 50/50 doesn't matter)

What i meant about pure air is the taste of the e-liquid,i can taste it less with the new setup but im guessing maybe that is the difference between the coils?
from what ive read the coils from a RBA give more taste...not sure that is correct.
Now im just puffing and puffing on my old e-liquid and when its empty ill try the 50/50 (PG/VG) solution with 6mg/ml nicotine (used 3mg/ml before)
Maybe with that combo ill hit the sweet spot.

yep,this is the one im using at the moment,just got it today
Tried the new e-liquid,50/50 (PG/VG) and instead of 3 mg/ml nicotine it's 6 and meh
Still not feeling it,maybe i need more nicotine,apart from that im out of ideas.
Flavour is ok but lung hit? nope,when the 1.6 coil is done ill try the other one that came with the box (0.48 ohms) might be better *shrug*
I'd up the nic to somewhere between 9-12 mg for mtl. As far as I know Zlide doesn't offer an rba head; if you don't like the other coil I would recommend just investing in a mtl RTA.
Ill give the nic upgrade a chance then.
This Zlide i want just for indoor use,when i leave the house i just use a Wasp Nano RTA but for indoor use it is just to much cloud production.
Next e-liquid i buy ill try 9 or 12 mg and see how it goes,thanks a bunch Letitia for all the help,much appreciated.

I diy, but my 50/50 runs fine in the zlide and zenith both. For me, flavour is better with the 1.6. Ymmv
Ill have to keep on trying different coils and see which one works best for me.

Welcome! Really only way to find what suits you is to try each one. Any pg/vg % seems to work fine in either tank. I prefer the zenith over the zlide as it has a bit more air. Zlide 22 is the tightest af of the 3Ill have to keep on trying different coils and see which one works best for me.

from your original question you mentioned lung hit: there won't be any when mtl-ing, but you know this if you've used the berserker.
50/50 is fine, prbbly even better for mtl. more PG= more hit and better flavour; more VG=more vapour.
raising nic will increase hit.
freebase nic gives much more hit (i mostly used 20mg nicsalts on my zlide and mtl in general, when i started lowering the nicotine i would add some 3mg juice (freebase nic, like yours) on top of the orignal juice directly into the tank to make up for the hit.
one thing that helps me get more hit without nic is using citrus or tobacco liquids_ they are especially scratchy.
do not 'empty' the tank by vaping. this can lead to burning it. it is ok to add juice on top of another, mixing is not chemically problematic and the flavour will shift gradually (if they are diff. flavours.)_ who knows, your sweet spot may be in the middle.
zlide 1.6 at 13w with 3 slots open is my sweet spot. tried .8, 1.0 and 1.2, none was as good. experiment with airflow and power, but don't exceed 14w. i love the zlide still even after getting the popular hellvape MD, i'm essentially trying to match the hit/vapour from the zlide by playing with the various options MD allows. only problem for me is priming/breaking in the coils can be tricky, needs quite a few puffs and playing with your suction/inhalation to get it broken in sometimes. don't start out high and don't fire at length at first...
my shop did the same for me the first time i bought a concentrate. you might want to pay more attention to dosage Disolución recomendada : 10-12% when you're mixing. this doesn't require time, doesn't count as entering into diy mixing and prevents you vaping bad juice. might want to pick up a bottle or two ▷Acesorios Para Alquimia - Vapeototal ... and follow dosage: for example if it says 10-12% and you have a 120ml gorilla bottle, you just drop all the flavour in, drop in 2 10ml bottles of 20mg nic, and fill up the rest with whatever pg/vg base: you have 3.3333 mg nic juice.
it's not a big calculationt o remember: Xmg(/ml) is how much nic there is in 1ml of the liquid, so a 20mg(/ml) 10ml bottle has 200mg of nic over all. if you drop 2 of those in a 120ml bottle, then the bottle has 400mg of nic over all, that means 400/howbigthebottleis... so 400/120=3.333. If the bottle is 100ml, 2 bottles of 20mg nic give 4mg. ....

Yeah i noticed that this new citrus aroma i got gets me more of a hit than my previous one.
About the tank yeah i never let it get totally empty,about a little less than half im already refilling it so that wont be a problem.
Using 1.6 at the moment,box came also with a 0.48 (i think it is),ill try that one once my 1.6 dies,ill just keep on trying different ones and see which one works for me.
At the moment im trying your setup (13w and 3 holes) and it seems good.
The alchemy box i got had the base and the 6 little nic bottles in it,so i just dumped all that in and added the box of aroma.
It seems to have worked,i mean i still have to wait 3 to 5 days but i just tried it a bit and its ok,really should get more into the techy and math side of vaping but to be honest my head just isnt in the right place at the moment.
And about the salts,yeah i heard good things ill have to give those a try,one of these days when i have time to look into it hehe.

seriously, this isn't the advanced level, you're not mixing recipes like the stuff here DIY E-Liquid
you just have to stick to the dosage otherwise you're using too much or too little flavour, which might well be the reason you're not getting the vape you want
the most common type of salts is used by people who want more nicotine without increasing the throat hit. 20mg of nicsalt gives less hit that 6mg of the freebase nicotine that you're using. you want more hit, not less, so salts won't be your thing...

Some people claim that "60/40" means "60%PG/40%VG" because PG/VG is in alphabetical order, but not everyone follows that logic so clarification is always needed.
You can also just say "20VG" or "40PG" since it's quick and easy to do the math to figure out the percentage of the unmentioned substance
(100 - x = unmentioned substance).

You could always add Koolada, Peppermint, Menthol or a combination thereof @Cloud-FF7 for more of a throat hit.
And with the Salts and freebase, if you reach a limit that you can tolerate the harshness of freebase but it just doesn't quite give you the nic fix that you need. You can then add Salts to get upto the total that you need.
